Got this entry just now. Locked at 40 pips. Still learning, but so far, the result has been positive.

The vertical line is showing a cross in H4, showing still downtime (cross down). The arrow is the setup candle, and i waited for it to break the low of the candle and entered.

I use the current EMAS that RH is using. The 3,8,21,34,55, & 200. I added the 100. He doesnt use that one. Let me know if you have any questions. We know the Holy Grail doesnt exist with trading. This strategy will help you be sucessful. Be patient.

The EMA's that I use, I have posted exactly which lengths I use here many times. They are: 3, 8, 21, 34, 55, & 200 and I never change them no matter what I am trading, or the time frame that I am trading.

I day traded the SPY (S&P 500) today and I only took Continuation Trades. Quite obviously I can't see the future so I never know in advance how these EMA's will perform, but here's how these EMA's performed today on the SPY (3 min. chart) today. Everything in a white box is a Continuation Trade. I suggest that you seriously consider using them.

Hi Roscearm,

Pls let me know if I should take the Short on Candle 1 or 2? I ask because candle 1 has a very small body.

Also did this One for 2R but it was easily a 3R and more trade.

Hi mate,

From a setup perspective, if I was you, i would have taken the trade from candle 3 as candle 2 is the confirmation candle as it closed below the black line.

having said that, just note the price is currently at support level if you look left. Probably not a best place to go short, unless the stock tanks.

But do your own research further before taking a trade.
Find a strategy that works consistently and then trading becomes easy.

Based on RobinHood’s EMAs (3, 8, 21, 34, 55, and 200), I wish someone would code an MT4/MT5 version of his monitor that provides signals for new trades and continuation trades by monitoring the currency pairs displayed in the Market Watch.

Here on the 5th and 6th box Ur entering long when I Guess that line Over there on top is the 200 ema. Shouldnt it be below all the others for long?

Ideally, for Long trades, I would "rather" that the 200 ema be below the other 5 ema's, BUT, it's not a strict requirement for me to enter a trade as I am much more interested in seeing what the other 5 ema's are doing.

I only show the 200 ema on my chart because almost everybody has heard how important the 200 ema (or sma) is. I haven't found it to be true, but since so many other traders believe it is, I like to see it on my charts and how price reacts when it's close to it.

Do you guys take any form of Volume into account before placing trades? wether it be Vwap, Volume profile, or just standard volume? I feel thats a rather touchy subject in the trading community and wondering if you guys take it into account for anything. Ive heard many times volume is mostly useless when it comes to Forex. But what about when trading futures or stocks? gold or Bitcoin?

Nopes, never used any of those Volume indicator/concepts into my strategy ever.

That's refreshing when seeing your score card.
Curious as to your recent NASDAQ picture.... What did you see? Were you pushing for a slight continuation? I feel everything was telling you to go the opposite way.
Then again, thinking about all the trades that go against me literally when I place the trade. Maybe I should follow that strat

You are correct, this was pointing to a push lower but old habits die hard as i was expecting the price to reach into the demand zone and then head down.
There are always lessons to be learnt from a losing/winning trade.

Following rules is hard

In my opinion, based on what I have seen, I think most intraday stock traders do look at volume in some form, but I have never found it to be very helpful to me.
