...I've had Robert Miners software since 2010 and trade using Indicators Including the DTosc, since that time When you properly set Indicators they TRACK price cycles, the price cycle is what makes the money So when you build an Indicator that tracks price cycles, it will work - doesn't have to be the DTosc, they ALL will work the same I would read Miners High Probability book - It is a treasure trove of Information I would also read whatever you can get your hands on from WALTER BRESSERT - Miner got his ideas for the Indicators
TREND UP then pull back to 25% or lower in RSI2 = CYCLE LOW "IF" the trend is still UP - you can wait for a 533 Stoch to cut out false signals or you can widen stops to allow room to move etc
True double/triple bottoms it will bottom out on the turn, ticks UP = BUY on the break of the prior bars HIGH
I could show hundreds of examples, but I only ever screen shot a few per week when I remember too, some of these are old
This is my fav way to use it on DAILY TF:
Entry was green line, stop red line - self explanatory really
The key to all this is understanding that price is NOT random, it moves in cycles, those cycles happen on EVERY time-frame and that gives you predictive powers and Indicators will bottom or top accordingly
I've said this for years - All you have to do is WAIT for picture perfect set-ups to show up on markets, risk 1% per trade and you easily make 2%+, doing that once or twice per WEEK allows you to double or more an account based on 44 trading weeks of the year
Also think about the HIGHER time-frame Indicator - a WEEKLY cycle LOW is going to result in a nice move UP on the lower time-frames - again this is in Miners book
If you trade these Indicators in the wrong conditions, you will get dud results - like taking every turn of the Indicator is a sure recipe to going bust

In DT charting software as well the DTosc, Miner also included a DT Stoch, which is a double smoothed stochastic - its not as Erratic as the DTosc
You can use that to time cycle highs/lows
Not shown, but you can mess about with the settings and use it to match BEAR market lows, which gives you predictive powers and one hell of an edge over everyone else
Remember all that is happening is the Indicator is TRACKING market price action CYCLES, which gives you an edge, the ability to time most tops/bottoms and profit
You can use ANY Indicator to do that, but the DT suite of Indicators work a treat, they have for 15 years for me and they will forever, because markets work out in price and time cycles and these indicators track those cycles nicely
