Yep, I agree with the big range... On my weekly charts I called it the "big void"

But before all that we are still above the median line of big channel. So we now must watch IF 1.0795 area supports or not!

There is no denying that the midrange should impact the price movement here. I see that 'butterfly/bat/failure to break higher' at the top of the range. That failure 'tends' to mean a retest of the bottom of the range. I think the range is getting tired though and could/maybe/might be ready to break into a true trend. Time will tell...

DAILY rallies go around 270 pips on average. Here we have 403 pips measured from top to current levels... I am okay until 420 pips.. That is generally the size of a medium size rally...

*However, can this turn into a large scale drop with 500 to 600 pips? Yeah, maybe.. But even so no worries, I would have long switched back to selling by then..

I am not saying one way or the other which way it is going. Not enough data for me yet. You do a great job sticking with the trend. Keep it up.

I think we reached for the time being the end of the move. The DXY is clearly on the point of rolling over. He stopped shy of the important 104 level - which was the low in April and June. He could take a breather and slip down to 103.2 or 102.8... Lets see.

UPDATE: From DXY 104 -104.2 is a resistance zone. There are some currencies (I don't want to mention here ) that still wants to weaken... so something else must go up (possibly that includes EUR).
