This was the first blockage from ~1.0944 area bears... Bulls are counting stars and bears use that opportunity to retest 1.0920... Let's see...

I suspect a nice rise in EU. Seems to be a weak bearish move to the downside now finding value at higher prices while bounce up from monthly and yearly pivots

That's a tough fight right now as the bears keep strongly protecting the weekly S1 position at 1.09465.

For the record, I'm hoping your scenario plays out. The rejection at that spot has been fierce though.

Yes quite the rejection but I feel as though the perception of value is still at higher prices but ultimately the market decides haha. Just out of curiosity, you mention weekly S1 position at 1.09465, by this you dont mean that the weekly S1 ids 1.09565 do you? If so we have different pivots. My pivots aligned with investing.com's pivots which show Weekly S1 is positioned at 1.0881. Wish you green pips buddy.

Quick Monday H1 Outlook

  1. Bulls could crack the tiny egg and succeeded to stay above 1.0920...
  2. Now, ~1.0932 area is nearest potential support on this timeframe... If bulls protect it, we should continue higher (Scenario 1)
  3. There could be a drop back to ~1.0915 area in case bears don't let go! (Scenario 2) If that happens, we must be careful with longs!

still looking at this scenario. The friday close below 1.094 wasn't very convincing imo. If 1.096 breaks then above scenario is possible. Euro rate cut next week so who knows.

It looks like EURUSD is consolidating near the lower band, today the bank holidays in Japan, Canada, and the US may be a bit sluggish.

so you may not start thinking of buying with whatever your entry signals

Quick DAILY Outlook

  1. If bulls can protect ~1.0920 area, we could rise back up to retest ~1.1040/50 area..
  2. If ~1.0920 area fails to support, we then could watch price dropping along the curve all the way down to ~1.0830 levels. If price can find support there, candles might slowly build a base (maybe an inverted H&S, or double bottom) and then rise back up...

That's all I can say with current picture... And please take this with a grain of salt...

Hi,

anyone else's broker showing these unusual huge wicks down on DXY? Could this signal or fortify the idea of a momentary drop on dollar and rise on euro?
