Guys, this is a little journey. I allways wanted to find a way to display the ranging tool at Bollinger Band in a more user friendly way. I just did that. I then improved it with the Darkred bars, which is predicting that Green bars might come. NOW! The green bars overshoot the turning point of the trend. This is natural when you are using a moving average as a signal. I have made an extra function. Using this function you will have the green bars coloured dark green as long as the momentum is rising and light green if the momentum stop rising....

Hi, do you happen to have any kind of alert built for this where you can have it pop up when the market is trending or switches to ranging?

I was just reminded of this indicator and the fine analyses you have made in post 51. We never got to make the programming. I am very busy by som other robots right now, but I will find some time to make a robot from your suggestions some time in the near future.

I have done a little papertrading. It was not conwincing, so I will drop this idea Zomba.
