The EURUSD experienced a drop today, but managed to stabilize above the 1.0900 level. This stabilization can be attributed to some relief among traders regarding the possibility of a recession in the US, as well as speculations about a potential 0.50% rate cut by the Federal Reserve at their September meeting. However, the likelihood of this rate cut seems to have decreased compared to yesterday, which might impact the currency pair's movements.
Looking forward, the euro may still have the potential to rise towards 1.0980, but there's also a chance of a further dip below 1.0900, possibly reaching the weekly pivot and previous resistance level at 1.0870. For the moment, the market is expected to consolidate, and it remains to be seen how it will move in the coming days.

EUR/USD is currently consolidating with a slight downward bias above the support level of 1.0904, which is yesterday's low. Another significant support level to watch is 1.0893, which, if broken, could challenge the short-term uptrend. There's also a resistance level at 1.0963 that needs to be surpassed for the pair to turn more positive. 1.0981 could be next then. If support levels fail to hold, the EUR/USD might decline towards 1.0871, a previously broken level.
