Just posted on the original wanting to know what's transpired in the long time I have been away and was wondering whether people are still trading the way that it was laid out ? Good to see you kept the purity of Eelfranz method. Question if you don't mind are you still actively trading the system ? Just wondering why this didn't take off even before I left, the original was being corrupted ?

Yes, BigE's Trading Made Simple thread was being corrupted shortly after he died and it went from corrupted to perverted to a toxic dump site. Today the posts are mostly for entertainment, not for studying or learning the 5-method.

I've come across Erics original "trading made simple" thread yesterday and was immediately intrigued by the simplicity. Everyone who gives away valuable knowledge like this, acquired after years of trial & error deserves respect and gratitude. May he rest in peace knowing he's probably helped a lot of men & women. I like the idea of honouring his wish and re-create the space he initially intended. Thank you for that!

I have a couple months of live trading experience and a good risk management, so I tried a couple of trades right away yesterday and made some profit. I too noticed the original thread was toxic and was, therefore, happy to have found this thread and have since yesterday done a lot of reading and backtesting on tradingview based on the knowledge I have accumulated so far. Since all the charts I've seen are on MT4/5, I was wondering if the indicators used require specific inputs for Erics TMS system.If I'm not mistaken one should begin with 5 SMA (or is it EMA/WMA?), TDI & Stoch correct?

I'm quite confident the regular TDI is the right one but I'm not sure about the Stoch Indicator I'm using so I attached screenshots of my charts and the Stoch settings and would appreciate some feedback.

I found this thread this weekend and studied hundreds of sites and I think this is very interesting. Due to the reason that the original thread is very old and markets are always changing my major question on this: is this strategy still working? Anyone using it the last months/years? How is there a setup?
TDI rather flat.

EUR/USD, 1H
Bounced trade.

TDI at oversold and did not cross red to retest support. TDI at good angle of 12-2 oclock.
Stoch agrees bullish.
The only thing is that I entered at 2nd candle of the bounce but it was the 1st GREEN candle after the bounce.
