Chances are very high that Japan intervenes by tomorrow's US market session.
Don’t think they will intervene. They have let the limit go I guess. Maybe the next intervention will come around 160

Non Sentimental analysis..
UJ on the Weekly chart appears to have not only formed a cup and handle, but now closed above the rim.
If we pull the lens out it is almost identical to the Illustration.
Also this...
IF this continues and cup and handle rules continue to be respected we are looking towards a 174 area hit. That is taking the length of the cup and adding it to the rim.
Not enough? Ok. Let's visit the Dollar. The weekly seems to show us in a wave 3. Wave 3 usually ends at 261. However we also appear to be in a weekly range. If so UJ could also be in a weekly range above the lip before continuing.
Emotional input:
This coupled with what is going on in the US where the FED appears to be pushing the cut back and now whispers of a possible HIKE are in the air? Japan intervened in 2022. That was two short years ago. I think they need more time to fill their coffers before they put billions more into the economy. This is Japan after all. They suffer with pride. Not like here where how we look means everything.

USDJPY price action on the daily time frame is in a bullish mode. On Wednesday, it broke above the 152.00 horizontal resistance area and produced an all-time high at the 153.381 area. Although presently the bullish momentum has waned, technically, we may still see further northward market engineering before any significant bearish correction.

This is one of small accounts of mine and is copied by copier with proportional lot increase on larger account
As you can see Short Trades are on with target around 153.890 for a sizeable gain from the USDJPY trades
