from a math perspective, total all in costs for twenty 25k accounts is less than 4k...... that's paying the lifetime 150$ per account...... and around 600$ for 20 evaluations at 80% off.....

on 25k pa accounts you are limited to 1500 per payout, 10 traded days, per account for first 3 months...... which equates to a max of 15k a week..... 60k a month..... in other words, 4k can get you 180k max in 3 months......

after 4 months there is no limit......

it might be wise to let the first payout ride and only withdraw a reasonable amount there after....... this will increase the distance to capped trailing drawdown...... for me, the trailing drawdown is no concern at all...... for others it might be.......

60k a month...... the first 500k is yours...... 90% thereafter....... actually more curious if i can make it...... h

CL HOLO long trade this morning. Tradovate didn't enter my bracket order on my initial entry and when I tried to place bracket orders in Tradovate I accidentally closed the position so I had to re-open it, which is why you see two entries and two exts when in fact it was the same set up.

+50 ticks and done with that prop account for the day.

I'll be trading NQ in the Apex funded this morning.

I understand you. In intraday drawdown is stupid.

Made good profits today but very disturbed by the behavior of Ninjatrader and the Apex funded account data feed. My ATM strategy is not working properly. I had trades not filled anywhere near the market. I had stop losses traded through - back and forth across the stop loss and no fills. I had to take over to complete manual trading. enter the trade and monitor without stop loss or take profit.

A very profitable morning but I have switched Ninjatrader to global sim and I am done for the day with the funded account.

Anyone else out there trading with Apex reading this who may have some insight?

I am a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time Ninjatrader user and I never experienced anything as bonkers and bizarre as I did today on Ninjatrader.

It felt like I was trading my old manipulated spot forex FXCM account back in 2006 lol.

My goal for today was to trade 2 NQ/entry and finish with a net of $589 or more.

I finish today with a net of $2225.80.

My goal for tomorrow will be to trade 2 NQ's per entry and finish the day with a net profit of $589 or more.

Oil bounced quicker than I could open the snipping tool.

Second bite of the HOLO long apple of the day. I did not take it as I made +50 ticks on the first offering.

Technically this was a YL (yesterday's low) long. Price dropped through it and came back up, again. If price drops below the low of yesterday again, then caution on the reversals as it is potential breakout mode.

Remember we had 6 days in a row of bull breakout traders pushing oil above the previous days' highs. Yesterday's and today's price action oil now has two days of bear breakout traders in the market.

I'd bet we get a third low of day break tomorrow before the bulls recover and start the rally again (if they start the rally again.)

Sim trade, sized at 10 contracts, used stop-limit to enter and limit to exit using the same ATM I was trying to use with the Apex funded account and it worked perfectly without any shenanigans.

Makes me wonder ...

i'm using tradovate, ninja's lite platform..... should be same feed......

noticed nq and es bouncy..... gold and dow were ok......no more than normal considering the news......

had thought might be a 5k day in gold...... trailing stop will have final say....

that chart shows 20 contracts, but it's just a single micro on 20 accounts......

not a big spender..... single micros is my max..... h

With the bounce and new lower low the stop is moved to +8 ticks.

Take profit is +60 ticks

Even when I am done trading for the day, I always mark the signals on the chart. It keeps me sharp, and by marking all, even those that would have lost, it keeps me honest with myself.

Most importantly, almost every day there are more profitable and +5 tick trades than there are losing trades.

This builds confidence in the methodology and helps me to resist the urge to FOMO and over trade.

Another set up is always on the horizon. There is no need to force trades.

If I am watching live, I will mark a potential set up as I did here are the far right edge of the price graph. The bar status indicator shows that the current candle can trade as low as 18576.75 without triggering an entry, so my sell stop, if I were trading now, would be 18576.50. If this trade triggers, it stays on my chart and will be printed as part of my signals review. If it does not trigger, I will remove the red circle as there would have been no trade.

Again, keeps me sharp and keeps me honest with myself.

That last set up I noted above did trigger and did reach +60 tick profit target.

I would not take a new short here as the last short, though profitable, resulted in a higher low, AND that higher low was the 3rd pullback to the 34 ema. I would not set a sell stop here. I'd wait for a new uptrend, or a new low followed by a new pullback.
