No sir, we enter when the Renko Square starts to paint with a Message (candle is open and NOT closed).
We close within 3 candles by watching the Candle Wicks (candle 1 to 3 wicks).

Hope everyone is well. Life has been busy since the start of the year. Carpe diem.

FVG trading is a live and kicking. The red and blue lines are NOT a S&R indicator but fair value gaps........ These gaps can act as support and resistance and explains why sometimes price reverses for what appears to be no reason. Realised after watching charts for hours that price has hit a FVG and found support / resistance. This bounce can be traded.

Done for the day. 50 pips is enough. Off to enjoy a coffee. Maybe back for the news later today; as always fun to trade.

which timeframe is best for this 1m or 5m?

would you trade in the direction of a higher timeframe bias? 1m and 15min or 5min and 1hr for example?

Not sure if you're referring to my posts or not. My apolgises if mistaken. For the FVG method, put 2x zigzag on chart set to 12 and 5. Look for the LH or HL bounce off of the FVG. As long as the FVG is not taken out. I use M1 and M5 to trade off. It depends on which one shows the fvg best. Sometimes the FVG is on both M1 and M5. I find it does not work as well on higher time frames but you may find different. I'm in the process of tidying up code on FVG indicator I use before I share on this thread. There are plenty of free fvg indicators but go for one that hides the blocked fvgs.

The direction / trend is determined by the first FVG in the new direction which is not taken out by price. Therefore applicable on all time frames. The trend maybe short, medium or long lived.

Look for the LL or HH and then a FVG in the new direction. Then wait for price to come back to the FVG and form HL or LH; which does NOT take out the FVG. Then price bounces off.

This is an intermediate method in my opinion and does require practice and patience. Will also need a strategy for when it goes wrong. I use cost averaging.

The method is nothing special and is similar to the 1-2-3 zigzag pattern but confirmed using FVG at point 2.

I use a different FVG method to trade news and put my trades (instant, not pending), 5-10 mins in advance of the news. See image below. Played it safe today and put TP at 1.08500. So 80 pips in total today relatively risk free.
