Fed will placate this markets - this time. unfortunately, it's delaying the inevitable. and the bond market knows far better

Cable I guess that one of your plans is that one day I'll find that I'm long and my TP is 2 pips and my SL is 1 in normal moves and will change my TP to 3 pips and my SL to 2 in volatility (If found)
(Daily range will be 5-6 pips)

only opinions. You are entitled to yours. Thinking out loud is ok too.Just there seems to be a lot of opinions on the market going this way and that and then turning at some point. Best to wait for it to get to a certain point and then see.
I try to look for zones rather than exact turning points. Naturally whole numbers are very good like where we are right now 2.0000
Until it closes on a daily basis (if it does) above 2.0000 by more than a few pips, I would not be looking to go long. But at the same time the trend for more than the last week has been up so I would wait for confirmation that trend has turned down before going short.
Waiting game if you ask me. Waiting for FED.

ok 3 things can happen with torti by the next trading day.
1-torti will move up breaking the current range to the upside.
2-torti will move down breaking the current range to the downside.
or
3-torti won't break out of the range at all!

ok darn it, i admit, maby i was one step to far ahead... i just think its gonna retrace a bit before going above 2.0..
what do you mean with zones by the way? ranges?
