Moderators several times have said that hitting TP will not count towards your profits, but will not be a breach either. They've also said multiple times that ALL trades for ANY high impact news are affected, not just the related currencies. They asked me to put my frustrations with both of those stipulations in the suggestions section of Discord, and so I have. Oddly, they are enforcing this news restriction on new accounts, but have not yet defined or detailed the rules of it. They also don't know what economic calendar they want to use, so I'm not sure how they could possibly be already enforcing it on new accounts, LOL! If you go by their own economic calendar in their back office, they have quite a bit of low and medium impact news that are flagged as high impact; they also have events for China, Russia, Argentina, South Korea, Brazil, Turkey, Mexico, and a bunch of countries that are rarely traded. I wouldn't buy a new account with them until they sort this rule out or you'd never find a profitable day you could trade without news somewhere in the world affecting every pair. I guess if you only scalp and are in and out of the market in 5 minutes you'd be OK.

If you think TFT and SFT new minimum distance rule to the end. It means also that no SL or TP cannot be less than 5 pips or 50 points under no circumstances. And any solution for that with market orders they will probably forbid too. So that you cannot have any trades less than 5 pips gains or loss (as minimum or in average as example). I do not know what they might think, but it looks again like they do not like to do their payouts. This rule is absurd if you just go little bit forward. You cannot make market orders with less than 5 pips too as gain or loss, pretty sure. Otherwise everyone could emulate his stop and limit orders to MARKET orders when price is showing it. Also stacking and multiple entries with less than 5 pips distance to each, even if only market orders, will make them suspicious that this could be interpreted as "forbidden solution" for this new rule. Oh man, these kids (in mind) don't have the slightest idea what trading is. They, Angelo and his 'C's, are for sure no serious traders.

It seems that not even a day(s) has passed and 8cap is back with DXTrade and Purple with cTrader. They are already missing our challenge fees. That was fast.

All these prop firms refusing to let go of American clients are just going to make everything worse. They should just let it go for now, follow FTMo's lead, let the CFTC relax and then come up with another solution after a year or two. But these firms run by instargram CEOs who spend time arguing on twitter are just going to cause more trouble for everyone else.

-Meta does not like the gray-label services that brokers are providing to props. Meta doesn't get a cut of that, presumably, since it's all demo, and the remote prop activity may be too risky for Meta right now anyway.

If brokers can provide a solution to props that does not involve Meta, then it should be fine with Meta, as it should not violate their agreement. I can only speculate.

Meta charge about 10k for unlimited demo accounts. Prop brokers charging $10 an account or whatever, making serious cash.

Meta not taking a cut like you say. Risk / reward isn't there since MQ are worried about being taken out the app store.

MQ not offering new licences for prop. Remains to be seen if they'll allow licenced props to continue like FTMO etc.

Seems that the whole industry is going backwards in time when FTMO had the +/- 2m news rule for all accounts and we had to be extremely careful in not having even a TP or SL at that time.

This sounds like Bespoke in the beginning. They had red news restriction but what they hid was the fact that a JPY red news was affecting EURCHF. Lots of people found that out in the worse way.

Does anyone knows when Apex gets to 53K in 50K acccounts if they close the positions or if we need to have precise TP, like in forex props ?
This is a print screen from rithmic dashboard and it says "auto liquidate" bu I'm unsure if that is the case.

You need to close youself, because even if profit is met, doesn't mean that trading days goal is also met.
If you continue trading after you reach 3k , you can also end up losing account .

Auto liquidation comes when you get your contract for PA account.
