Anyone using Metatrader 5 on Macbook Air M1?
I download MT5 on Macbook Air M1 from Safari and it is draining my battery so fast, I do not want to use mobile version of MT5 on Macbook.
Is there a way I can use MT5 natively on Macbook Air M1?

Using MacBook Pro with M1 or any intel processor?
If it is Macbook Pro with M1, it still shouldn't be native with Apple Silicon processor.

Try cTrader. Far better and not manipulated. MT4 has been proven to be manipulateable, so why trust the next version?

Downside is it's big, but so much more modern and way more features built in. When my swap was incorrect, cTrader corrected it by giving my account a deposit. The exact same position on MT5 is still sat there with the wrong amount.

My prop firm only allows me to use MT5.

Price has tried to break resistance (green line) 3 times and still trying to break it again. It is very interesting situation. I already have one short position at 1980. Lets see how much DD , i have to face because tendency of price movement is upward. Price need to close above 2007 in H4 timeframe to break resistance.

I am trialing cTrader and I have no complaints. Is the live version exactly the same?

I use MT5 from an old account and cTrader for a new one. Not sure what you mean by the same, there's no difference between demo and live if that's what you mean. Once I close the MT5 account, I'll never go back
