The U.S. government is putting out manipulated cpi numbers to get a desired effect in the markets ( lower treasury rates) to assist Japan because Japan has a big problem related to its yen, its banks specifically leverage poisons these bank took which are getting crushed by higher rates.
If they tampered the official US CPI so much as an “extreme act to rescue the BoJ and JPY carry traders (because of the us treasury yields crush) and this doesnt work… then whats coming will be catastrophic

With index volatility - i assume we dont trade signal but rather confirmation unlike FX, - where we readd back on confirmation of the signal- to reduce the number of time we are on the wrong side.
