1944 is breaking point, should next price closure above 1944, then that would be change of character.

Quite a number of untested levels to the downside. Most retailers have placed their sell orders 1938-1939 and the sl to be 1944. Psychologically it will pick your orders and run for liquidity upto 1945.
I am building sells from 1939 with the smallest lot size and gradually increase as it goes up. My sl will be 1947

Problem is, there is always another high to take.

yes but 1944 is breaking point. also, enter within risk.
if u want to stack positions. do not place a lot within pips.
u can add 2-3 position. but let it be within 20-30 pips range.
