You do not have any price action capabilities like the OP Big E and I.
One of the many skills which price action traders must have is to be able to read price bars and candlesticks.
Big E and I we attended Steve Nison's Japanese Candlesticks courses and we traded clean charts back in the 1990s.
Big E considered Steve Nison as one of the best in the USA.
Trading TMS requires a lot of experience and discretion on the part of the trader. The more experience the better the trader becomes.
When I develop TMS 5-Method into my own winning system with Statistical Edge, my focus is in post#261 by eelfranz.

Learning and building upon that post#261 alone, I look for Reversal and Continuation Patterns using both Candlestick study and Chart Pattern study taught by two experts - Thomas Bulkowski and Steve Nison. I made severel posts in this thread with materials attached. Please look for them in the attachments.
What is also important is your beliefs and I believe in trading the prevailing market conditions. I enjoy trading Price Action with Support and Resistance PASR. There are many different school of thought on Support and Resistance by different forex coaches and expert technical anaylysts. For me, I learn from babypips.com how to identify Support and Resistance and I adopted that method consistently throughout when I develop my own winning systems using TMS 5-Method as the core trading methodology. It is not a holy grail method but what I feel is more important is to apply a proven method consistently over a longer time and let the results prove itself.

When we combine the use of these knowledge and look for trade setups, these should be sufficient to tell us what a A+++ high probability trade setup is for us to make a quick simple trade decision and pull that trigger with confidence.
This TMS 5-Method is indeed a very simple technical method to trade. But to make our trading simple, we need to have the knowledge and experience and combine with a proven money management strategy and make that into a winning system.
Good luck @Tekkies because you will need it more when you believe a lagging TDI is Holy Grail and has predictive power.

I may go long soon based on other markets and if that hook crosses up on blue close >5MA.
Equities always have long bias so I'm always keener to go long and to close shorts.
Though dec futures are at 7076...they have been wrong for months which is a big divergence.
In the end markets end up where the fundamentals take them though.

Besides the hook, the market also retested the Previous Low. Last reversal created a Higher High. Before placing a trade those levels were already there.
TDI and Price Action in post #647 are very useful in trading TMS.

Keep It Simple: Follow Big E #2617 ...strip the S&R levels

The Weekly WCC high - low is the range and also the act as 'support and resistance'.
When trading the 4hr , simple look at the H4 candle every 4hr i.e. Pacific 10pm, 2am and 6am, look for MOMENTUM candles,
- trade Engulfing candle BUEB and BEEB
- trade Engulfing Outside Bar ... BUEOB and BEEOB
- trade big candle and small candle Mother Bar/Inside Bar
- trade big candle and small candles Double Inside Bars DIB
- Do Not trade H4 Master Candles
- Do Not trade H4 Extreme Candles exceeding 3xATR(10) H4
- Do Not trade 1 hour before any news/events

while observing now @Tokyo 2:00PM the price action on H12, the price making higher now and the APB changed colour ... early sign for trade management action and decision.
