Assuming that you are trading the 30 min chart, you need to be looking at the 4 hr. for direction confirmation, not the 1 hr. There's not enough time difference between the 30 min. and the 1 hr.

The 4hr. HMA line was red (deep pink) which means that I would not have entered the trade on the 30 min. I need it to be green.

*BTW, for everyone, just to be clear, when I say I look at "one time frame higher", I do not mean literally always "one time frame higher".

For me it's more of a figure of speech, a way for me to reference the time frame I look at that is above the time frame that I am trading.

For new people learning here, Hope this simple basic explanation assists those wanting to try and understand where they are in a minefield of foggy paddocks, filled with difficult terrain.

As Robin Hood explained earlier you need knowledge, and it will be expensive, as you have entered into one of the most difficult businesses to make money, ask him, he may share some of his knowledge, gained over the years, I believe some 20 yrs plus.

The education you get will assist in answering many of the questions you ask above, but be careful of the so called experts who will ask you to sign up for help, coupled with fees, make sure you get value for money, check their credentials first before parting with hard earned cash

Looking on various chat sites may be entertaining but, it may also be misleading.

The attached needs to be learnt and UNDERSTOOD, applied to various time frames, to determine a satisfactory outcome, well it did for me, so hope it helps those lost in the wilderness.

Here si the GBPAUD charts recopied for the time period you were asking about going long. One 4 hr and the other a 1 hr.---Just a confirmation of what other people suggested you needed to use.

The dotted lines represent my understanding of where you wanted to go long at approx 1.9500

The white channel lines I put on to help you see an obvious issue moving forward for any attempt at going LONG

The LINE style of the price will also remove any confusion about what is happening.

And back to why I put the Basic premise about trends is now explained (with the actual trade you considered), from theory why you need to learn this stuff

meanwhile, I want to thank you for the precious help you continue to give us, personally learned a lot from your trading and your indicators. I ask you if you have a moment of time if you can check the mq4 file of the indicator Stochastic_Color_v1.02classicC.mq4. When I compile it returns several errors, I fixed almost all of them but in the end I can not fix the StringUpperCase function. I wanted to recall this indicator in my strategy and I can't, if you could give me a hand I would be grateful.

any tweaks / mods (or even the source for "Synergy APB" (mq5/mq4), some formula/equation would be useful too) ?

also for my(and others too) commodity would be nice to start 1 thread/ keep this one with entries (some human filter would be nice and only costs up 2 10 seconds of that traders life ) (I really don't like to watch the charts every(second/minute/hour/day/year/eon) , that's why I want the alerts ("Look first / Then leap" as trading view says)

Great job with TradingView version of Template #1, you are obviously quite skilled with programming.
Would it be out of the question to make it available in the TradingView community scripts? I tried to insert the scripting from the zip files and its not working for me.

Mine don't work either. I managed to find alternative ATB indicators and TDI for MT5 that do work.

Obviously the TDI can be recreated using RSI, and by adding moving averages and a bollinger as per various instructions for Android MT4
