The dollar is in a big mess it seems. Here are just 2 aspects:
1. the US debt level is approaching the level before the 2008-2009 crisis. The debt curve did not follow the economic cycle curve;
2. bonds with a term of 1 year (or less) have a higher yield than those with a term of 10 years (or more), which inspires mistrust.
The weakness of the dollar means an increase in the value of the eur/usd currency pair and any currency pair with the dollar as the denominator.

Remember one basic rule

100 SMA is your trend line

And 20 SMA is your minor guide
On 1 hour chart
Below the main trend line never trust any upward movement unless 20 SMA also moves upwards

The explanations I find regarding the appreciation of the dollar starting with July 19 are: the increase in the price of oil, small victories of the dollar and now the imminent increase in the federal interest rate. Other opinions?
