Found this thread coincidentally, when I was searching for ways to improve my own momentum based ema scalping strategy. Seems like, the things which I was doing wrong this has been exactly complimented by the KOF ema strategy. Working on this strategy for the 3rd day, and I'm in profit consistently. Check the trades from today, where I've made around $29 from $100 and also this week's chart and stats.

Forgot to adjust TP to the 200EMA, but will gladly take the extra pips

This looks interesting. So according to your M15 markup, price mitigated the FVG and closed beneath it, hence price moves southwards?

M15 FVG violated - it didn't hold so i removed it. It raided an M15 swing low (liquidity level marked as x) and reversed.
During the Asian session, it tapped into a H4 (violet) FVG and sold off.

Again, just because there's a liquidity level or FVG, doesn't mean price will respect it. Once it enters a zone or touches a level, you drill down to M1 and observe price action or use an indicator of choice to see if a signal is generated.

But i find using ICT techniques helps me build a higher timeframe narrative - you don't want to be buying at a high and selling at a low.

I noticed you had a orange line titled IDM in your M15 markup, may I know what does that mean?

IDM is internal liquidity. I don't know what the letters exactly stand for.

IDM is a liquidity level that is resting above or below a more significant zone - in this case, it's the PDL. The theory is that an IDM will induce traders into a fall move, trap them and then take them out and move to the real POI.

The other theory is that there are stops resting at an IDM. So, price will get manipulated to take out their stops before moving into the real POI.

In SMC, the presence of an IDM strengthens the validity of a POI.

In my markup, the significant zone below the IDM is the PDL. I would wait for price to breach the PDL before considering a trade.

A general liquidity leave marked as "x" is different because it's a significant swing high or low without any nearby POI present and I would look to see it get swept.

That being said, this is all theory. Sometimes I do look for reactions of IDM. It's still an internal swing after all. Price does react from them sometimes. Since we're averaging in, it's not a real issue.

I kinda just mark IDM out of habit of practising SMC. Lolx.

No sir, I was curious if there is any difference between the Synergy Continuation Histogram you have in Window 2 with the RSI and compared against the CCI Histogram in Window 3 ??? If possible, could you attach your CCI Histogram for I can test and compare...

It is a normal cci, I use this because it is faster to see and it has an alarm. When the cci is above zero, the line is green below red, for me it is agile, but it is a normal cci
