Yes I understand that but all I'm saying is, as per the definition of an inside bar. The first bar is not an inside bar. Unless my understanding is wrong, which I wanted to check with you.

Yes sorry, my mistake. It was a IB + OBDown + Engulf Up pattern.

Thank you bro! I will look out for it. I will try and read Al Brooks but the book is very deep and at this stage I don't want to go into any big new theory. Small candlestick patterns I am happy to look at within the context of the way I see the market.

AUDUSD 1M

pullback long off support, cost averaged, didn't take third order at bottom because of preceding price action highlighted in yellow which confused me, so felt better to wait for clearer sign then it shot back up so let it rip to targets - HOWEVER, rather than believe in my setup, i closed my second order manually before the target which was at ema200, i knew that gap would get filled, yet i still closed early then it hit my target, what do you do!?

mate, these are three reversal patterns I look for when scalping. Otherwise I just look for continuation. You can see the second one in your AU trade

they're all nice simple setups your looking out for thehustla, and yes that last trade i did was exactly your second setup, and i would of normally taken that last order, but that price action in yellow at the time threw me off, i had trouble interpreting it

i've done a lot of your first setup as well, that's another nice one, can't say i've come across that last one though, maybe i have but just haven't realised, i'll keep an eye out for it, thanks for sharing

Here's an example. This one isn't perfect as has a deep left shoulder and is too small but you get the general idea.
