This is wisdom. For many reasons the simplicity that is the hallmark of good trading is widely rejected by the whole sell-side apparatus, and especially the novice. It just seems like there must be sophistication and many moving parts in order to be 'believeable' by the masses. I'm not sure why. Maybe because it's the only way to make sense of why we are not immediately good at it, and so protect our ego. Something simple would be 'easy' to master while something complex is logically, not easy. Of course simplicity is an end result of much practice.
