Not to trade GBPUSD until the directional bias is clear should right now be a no-brainer - there are lots of other instruments.

A lot of the daily charts <edit including the USDX> appear to be trying to 'flatten out'!
Bank holiday in the US, good chance that we will just see consolidation, IMHO!
Spending the weekend looking at videos on key levels trying to predict where the market is more likely to go.
