It does react, but it is not as strong as Monthly and it also depends on the timeframe you are viewing setups for. For Daily reactions, you need to be on a much lower timeframe to see such reactions and setups (see below). I prefer to trade longer term, so I look on H4/H1 for my setups, hence the higher tf psych levels will be more pertinent.

A setup with S&D imbalance and psych levels. Notice how price blasts through the 4hr psych level, creates a demand zone as a result, comes back for more liquidity to rally up again. using Fibonacci retracement as confluence, notice how the candle barely closes around the 50% mark, right at the S&D demand zone drawn (shaded rectangle), and just above our 4hr psych level. Beautiful setup. A 4:1 trade. This is what we are patient for. The market will give you these, but not everyday!

I've heard of him but never used his method. From my understanding his strategy was about filling of wicks, and this is not about that. This is more about observing price near psych levels & fib levels, and wicks tend to be the way price tests levels.

Because there are some similarities between timeframes. Looking on D timeframe for drawing S/R lines and 1h for finetunning the entries is not the same with W S/R and 1h .

Indeed. You and SilentFather should experiment adding the psych levels on m15/m30/h1 and observe price reaction on m1/m5 using the same S&D zones. Would be an interesting experiment especially if you like to
intraday trade on lower timeframes. Might add greater confluence. I typically favour the higher TF since I don’t like to day trade but hey, everyone has their style!

Hi Katfx! Great catch! I am getting old -_-‘

Yes, that is also a valid level. I usually only focus on the immediate levels but for practice you can draw all to get a hang of things. Great work keep it up!

Looks like a demand zone is forming. When you draw your psych lines on higher TF make sure you round to nearest .xxx0 or .xxx5.
