Hi to all,
Is there any way to make blessing trade Indexes ( US30 for example ) .
I can't make it to open any trades for some unknown reason.

No problem to trade US30
Just remember to set Lot to 0.1 and check MaxSpread

I an unable to make the EA to open any trades on Indexes, I don't know why. Can you please tell me what version are you using, and would you be so kind to share a working .SET file so I can have a starting point ?

In the Settings tab for MT5, click on the gold dollar sign ($) and check Minimal volume.

This seems to vary widely among brokers for non-Forex instruments, often larger than 0.01. Adjust your set file accordingly.

Thank you for your answer, but I use MT4 and I don't know where to find what you described. it would be easyer to have a working .SET file for blessing version .27 let's say, and I'll try to start from there.

It's always good to learn whatever you can to minimize problems and maximize your ability to take advantage of good situations when they arise.

An easier place to find the minimum lot size is on the Blessing chart with Debug set to true. Works with MT4 and MT5. Near the bottom of the chart look for Lot Min, the adjacent number is the smallest trade your broker will accept for that instrument.

As I said, this seems to vary widely between brokers for non-Forex instruments. So someone else's set file might not help.

I think it would be interesting to focus on the development of dynamic stop loss. There are many entry approaches, but few on when to exit a trade, in order to minimize losses.
A possible approach would be to define a "stop loss level", as the price moves away from the median. For example, assuming a median price of 1.01 for the EURUSD pair, a SELL order at 0.99 could have a stop loss of 80 pips. Another SELL order at 1.0 could be acceptable up to 100 pips SL. A SELL order at 1.01 price could be 120 pips SL. This is a simple approach, other indicators could be used to define exit points in a more sofisticated way.
The big problem is that robots do not detect well trends changes and open new orders without considering that market prices have degrees of elasticity.
I have no idea how to program this, but a tool like this would be important in Blessing.

Im trying to add some code into Blessing, but it seems it does not want to update the variable.

I want TSLPips to be changed to "3" if there is more than one open trade.
Where should i put this code so it updates the variable?
Ive tried to put it inside onTick, but it doesnt seem to do the trick ?

Good day all, especially JP McFarland. I have tried this copy of your setfile on Version 16 and I am having GREAT success with it on Roboforex broker (demo) for a few months now. It was not necessary to optimize at all. Post #2292.
Now trying same with FBS Broker and it will simply not trade................strange. See attachment. Can anybody assist in analysing and advising?

Check if the broker uses other prefixes like: ”EURUSD.a” for example.
Expand the symbol-list by right-clicking ”Show all”.
The error comes from server, not Blessing
Hello folks. I just put on the V27 on MT5. The journal log shows this error message about OpenCL.
Do I need to install the OpenCL per this link?

I test in demo mode this blessing adviser almost half years. No I try to go in live but after I put the same setting to real account is 0 trade…have anyone the last version for MT4 and mybe setting for goldUsd?
