I would say by the looks of the last 4 hour candle on Friday, we are heading up with some momentum.

I will be watching the 5-15 minute and 1 hour candles to catch the turn up.
hopefully we can get a retrace back down to mid 31.30's to pull the trigger.........
231.46 being the 38.2 Fibo, if that was the low we just saw, it could trigger from there, what do you think Fix?

I just ran a Fib on the Last three - 4 hour candles.

Low 230.66
High 231.95

Usually I run a fib on the body also.

That would be
Low 230.86
High 231.84

You know me, I have about 20 fibo going right now. LOL
I took the High of the last bear run to the low

H - 232.99
L - 228.76

This placed the 61.8% Fibo at 231.36/37, which we have already completed, and if price drops back to this area for support, we would then be set with your trigger to push us back up to a complete 100% retrace of that bear run.

Also the 230.90 has been reached three times on the hourly, and the last attempt pushed above it by 4 pips, I would think that 230.90 would be the next resistance to break, and once it does, look for a nice move upwards.
Hmmm I am on the 30 min chart....
only because its a text book picture right now something I use kinda like a radar for bigger time frames when theres not to much noise points I am using are from 3-30-07 10 am to 3 30 07 2100

I have the fibo starting at

Low 222.59 on 3/14/07 (bottom of wick)

High 232.99 on 3/26/07 (top of wick)

The 38.2% fibo is 229.03 which shows the last two daily candles coming to rest on that line, and the last daily candle on Friday set right on the 23.6% fibo at 230.56

This is a perfect Fibo setup for a continuation on the upward move, and with looks of the Daily Candle, I would expect a push upwards to test the resistance around 232.99 once again to complete the 2nd attempt to break the double top area on the daily candle.

This upward move is the retracement of a previous bear run we saw a while back that drove the price down 1650 pips.

The move we are in now is in the 61.8% fibo retrace of the bear run, and we have seen the past 9 day candle skirt this line, but the daily candle of Wed and Thurs of last week found support on the 50% fibo line, and Friday Candle went no where near that lower level again, and closed above the 61.8% mark.
is it me or is Oanda quotes off by 10 pips?
Word to the wise..... We are well into profit now, opening position at in the 31.30's.. If you trade this pair, you know that this is a trending pair. Over the last 3 weeks this pair has been good to us with the gaps so much so it caused me to break my own rules today and trade live which I never do on Sundays. Well anyway just a heads up 4 am est is when I go to work and pretty much every morning except friday mornings this pair trades with the trend or direction its trading in at that time just for fyi. Also those who dont like EWT another member here on FF has a system that works well for GBPJPY. I wish I could remember his name but it just slips my mind right now. The system works like this.... On the 1hour TF put 32sma on high, close, and low.. Then put a 12sma on the 1 hour... When the 12sma completly crosses and the bar close you open your position I would reccommend stop +10to 20 of the previous bars lowor high depending on your position. Once the 12sma touches the middle 32sma to cross to the other side you close and wait for the cross to open new position. Hey look gotta run. I hope all make some money this week and will update if I see reversal comming... Overall I am looking for high of 237 to 238.00's

also just remembered something. We need to break 32.14 with a close above it other wise there is a chance of going to mid to low 229.00's

Close..........Do you mean hourly close or daily close?
hourly. I took profit now and opened short
stop 20 above 231.18 so 31.28
