I want to introduce this free tool I found from the mql5 website for people using MT5 platform. The rectangles in MT5 has only two anchor points, this is unlike MT4 where a rectangle has 4 anchor points for you to drag it. This makes resizing the rectangles a bit of hassle for those using MT5. You can use this tool called "Rectangle Position Changer", when you double click on any rectangle on your chart to select it, it will display 4 lines for you to drag to resize the rectangle.
Here is the tool: https://www.mql5.com/en/market/produ....google.com%2F

This is a wonderful indicator, eess. I like its functionality especially the toggle ON/OFF feature. It allows me to remove the levels with just a single click. My only suggestion is to make the lines unselectable so that I don't move them accidentally. Albeit, thank you for sharing this!

I cannot help you if there is no additional details provided like video recording or steps of how to reproduce the issue etc(steps of what did you do, what did you see) since I don't have this issue on my side. A video recording is required for such issues reported relating to speed of execution. There are simply too many reasons this kind of issue can happen such as the type of PC you used might be too slow, you open too many charts, you run too many indicators that are performance-intensive, you don't have enough chart history etc, it is best that you check again when market opens and try to record a video. Please understand that a programmer can only solve an issue if he can reproduce the issue on his side and a one-liner description like that is vague and cannot be acted upon.

Hi eess
Thanks for this box indicator it is working very well on my platform as were the earlier versions. But this is nice as I now don't need separate templates now for each TF to keep the box the same size.

Is it possible that when you select the extend HI/LO lines that they can stop at a selectable time i.e 23:00 etc. Not sure if im missing something?

Try this, do take note of the input parameters that needs to be set, the selectable timing are defined by per session.

v1.32 esSessionBox
- Added the option to allow user to configure the extended lines to end on user-defined time

Perfection !!! Huge thanks Ess !

Here's a couple screenshots of one of the ways I use the extended lines with Fibs to identify a couple of my main daily targets 127 and 161.

I really appreciate you doing that.

Cheers

Thanks for sharing this It's always interesting and motivating to see an indicator being used in a useful setup in trading
and it brings a lot more meaning to it.

incredible tools brother you can not imagine how they make things easier, as an improvement it would be ideal that the lines and rectangles stop drawing once the price breaks them, in the sessions and in the drawing they would be a certain too incredible

thanks for sharing perfect tool

I use a Surface with pen.
Can you present the color selection section as a separate indicator?
I can not use the keyboard and everything can be done by touching the screen.
Thank you very much for your efforts.

The color selection is present at the interface as well, but u need to first pre-select the color you want before you start drawing.

Can't sorry, this will conflict with how other users like myself use this tool, I myself need the auto-extended lines to continue extending.
