[i]f we predict an "up day/week" then we could maybe expect price to be manipulated below the open, before the daily expansion higher. So taking the long trade at the "low of the day/week" (under the open) would take advantage of the "premium/discount theory. I think this is usually referred to as the OSOK model. (One Shot, One Kill) Obviously this is only if the setup presents itself there and you are confident in the bias. Just thought it was something to add.

Ok maybe "speculate" would be a more appropriate word .

i noticed this setup after 3 has passed. there were downbars closing in middle so i didn't short there. 'wait for upbar with low volume' was totally worth it. P.S. it wasn't profitable day for me today. as i felt being missed out of some opportunities and didn't wait for market to show me where it was going. i am realizing that as expert VSAers have already said in this thread that when we predict the market, being biased most of the time leads to losses. this is the only trade i took with patience after losing two trades earlier and recovered more...

..does anyone have this trade level indicator that shows PL lines for open and closed trade.

Couple of trades today.
First was a loss on EURAUD. This was a VZA trade, I saw highest volume on the lows, price rallied and I entered off a test on the M15 at the 50%. Which I've shared a post before of Pres where he says these are riskier trades to enter at 50% and its safer to wait and enter off the 100% after you've seen testing at the 50%. If I had waited for an entry off the 100% I would avoided the loss.
The loss isn't a big deal, if you fall into the trap of trying to avoid all losses you'll never get anywhere.
EJ short still on going, I'll probably end up holding this over the weekend.
Very bearish due to the widespread down bar that took out a big support level at 131.10. A widespread down bar that takes out support after an up move is always weak. I couldn't find any decent HVC on Feb 17th PA, used the highest volume bar from Feb 15th, price did fall short of the HVC by 2 pips but with the weakness behind us I was eager to jump in.
Closed EJ, price dropped late in US session no sense in holding it over the weekend.

If Russia attack ukraine .. i think it will start WW3 ... Russia could then destroy satellites GPS, telecomunication will down, after that nuclear attack will destroy our planet ... internet will down ... no forex trading guys ... bussiness and telecomunication infrastructure will destroyed ... END!!!! Its time to withdrawal 80% of equity right now bevor its too late .... Hopefully the political people will think a long term effect of Ukraine problem ... the tension should be reduced.
ha ha ha, i just worry about the situation in Ukraine ... Putin could do anything beyond our imagination ... hopefully my worry is not true otherwise it would be end of our world .... lets back to trading

I think all VSA traders turning into ICT traders. This thread is not active like before..
Basically posting to myself, then a few people join and contribute for a little while then disappear.
