Hello guys,

Very pleased to come across this thread!
I'm already having a winning trade with the nihilist trend detector.
I've installed the ea EU_GW_V2.05a.ex4 but I don't get data for the nihilist trend detector and the ibuko/ema is not updating.
I put the expert in the expert files. I have also the ibuko and the nihilist trend detector in the indicator files.

If somebody can help, thanks in advance!

I've been reading the thread and found a wonderful crash course listed by fareed51.

I believe GW and fareed51 are successful traders and have provided every sort of help they could have provided us. However, both aren't around the thread anymore.

I've not started trading MST but I think, I should start GW's exhaust method. that's genuine and very profitable method.

I've installed and taken a testing trade to check if all indicators are working.

The marked numbers arent moving at all.. May be i need to reinstall but someone can verify if everything is working fine in their system? may be i am missing some indicators.

I think I'm the only one viewing this thread, Home Alone.

I've successfully installed 4 platforms screens.
1- Trend Detector
2- Dashboard
3- Scalper
4- Swings

A big thanks to Emont, GW, and fareed51 to provide us successful platform and guidance. Installation took 2 days so far, the rest I will do tomorrow. Trading I will start from the day after tomorrow. No Rush.

Note: The dashboard relies on a trend detector, so keep the trend detector running when using the dashboard.

I followed GW's strict instructions and exhaustion guidance. My trades for EURAUD & EURNZD are still going in many green pips.

I've secured profit and closed both swing trades however, they are still in profit but i closed.

Updates:

  1. I've tested the GW Scalper and his style returns only GREEN pips
  2. I've tested the GW Swing platform which is perfect if you follow the GW exhaustion method.
  3. I've read fareed51 trades taken in emont's dashboard, lots of green pips. fareed51 trading method is totally different from GW.

In my opinion, you can make lots of money using GW scalper but you need lots of patience and time. the GW' swing method is very good but market can go against you and you may end up blowing your account. That's why GW suggests to monitor your trades and close them in less loss if you can.

Overall, I prefer emont's dashboard and fareed51' method to secure small green pips and BE red pips. and you may see results in my TE.

I'm sorry to hear that GW stopped trading.

I didn't know GW and fareed51 got margin calls and lose all balance and finally, they quit trading.

I won't upload new screenshots as well.

That rumor was already discussed between GW and me, so it's fine.

However, it's nice to hear from you, Emont. It means a lot to hear from you both seniors. Currently, I am testing a few EAs, but I will return to GW's exhaustion very soon here. I'll continue using all systems and post results here.

I'm watching pairs;

  1. AUDUSD is exhausted in H4 but waits for TDI to give a Sell signal.
  2. GBPCHF is exhausted in H4 but waits for TDI to give Buy signal.
  3. USDCAD is exhausted in H4 but waits for TDI to give BUY Signal.


EURJPY & USDCHF will take a while but near to line up, finger cross .

GBPCHF trade was as per GW's method.

AUDUSD trade is wrong regarless of +ve pips, entered too early.

USDCAD trade is wrong and -ve pips, entered in wrong direction.


REASON: my screen was stuck to the Daily chart, I was watching H4 but it was showing Daily This is what happens when you stay away from your beloved system for a while but I'm back. Losing trade is part of the business and WINNERS always learn from mistakes.

This looks like a great system i am now just getting into. Your template screen 2 emonts with the dashboard isn't running live for me. Do you have the link for that dashboard if you don't mind i would appreciate it.

edit: I downloaded a different version of Emont's dashboard and now everything moves except the nihilist trend on it. I dont know if I am missing something. Thank you for sharing your templates and GW for sharing this system.

mafe david read it all in 2023 and i strongly recommend....

in other to have a successful backtest of exhaustion, you have to convert the dashboard to line like indicators with levels. like the ccfp indicator. once you do that, you will be able to backtest properly with your own preferred level for exhaustion and see the light..
