Righto. Just to be clear for learning purposes - would that have been a valid trade entry (its okay to lose some)?

of course you have loses 25 target 12 stop i trade 30 second charts that was a 133 tick chart

I feel a little silly asking - can you explain that, i have no idea how to intrepret that.

Target 25 ticks which is about 7pips? and SL = 12 which is about 3 pips?

For a quick trial i took this trade: +7 pips, what do you think?

here is the difference fx offers cfd nas which is a rip off in futures 4 ticks = 1 pt or 20 dollars (5 dollars a tick) cfd is 5 dollars a point 4 times less

Yep i'm trying to setup a demo - this was more just trialling the method.

Did i do justice to your methodology?
How succesful is this strategy - i'm looking at some back tests - there seems to be an aweful lot spikes.
The uncertainties of US-china trade talk will keep pushing this Index down, we have had a clear rejection of a very important zone which is aligned with smaller time frames aligned for the bears to take back the control of the market from the bulls.

HUGE fan of futures, especially compared to forex. While US has become much more regulated for its forex brokers thus providing more safety for deposits, US equity futures' movement, spreads, commissions, etc., are all far superior. And now with the Micro ES/NQ/YM/2K, there is really no reason not to try to trade futures instead of forex.

Today's 20 second NQ chart trading results.

  1. 14 trades / 11 wins & 3 losses / Avg. Win 3.71 Points & Avg. Loss 3.16 Points
  2. Total 51.50 points (gross of commission) / 25.75 points on 2 lot entries = 103 ticks

Entries:

  1. fbot = failed breakout with the trend. typically a fade of the last s/r during a two/three leg pullback.
  2. fboct = failed breakout counter trend. overly risky and typically require too much of a stop. rarely worth it and entered too early on my only one today (error as i didn't have time to adjust entry before it was filled).
  3. bpb = breakout pullback. can be a break of trendline or broken horizontal s/r, and then pullback.
  4. tclOS = trend channel line overshoot. favorite trade. overshoot of a trend channel line

Management:

  1. 2 positions, 3 point stop, 5 and 10 point targets.
  2. First target may be adjusted to first s/r and second target may be adjusted to second s/r
  3. BE on both after 3 points in favor,
  4. After 5 points, second position trails by 3 points.

You who have already lost everything and are looking for a way to get your money back, stay away from all the EA’s, indicators, softwares as Metatrader, Jigsaw, Sierra, Bookmap and all other. Understanding the options on the futures is the only thing that will help you efficiently.
