GDP is made of 4 components:

As you see, expenses/spendings are making the most of the GDP. So an increase in GDP means, the country spent more money than it did before. And when they spend more money, it means they supplied more of their currency to the markets.

Let's say US GDP numbers were high, that means they bought more things with their dollars and created a dollar supply. But now, we see that US economy did spend less than the previous. Which means they supplied less dollars to the market, You know when supply is lower than the demand, price goes up. So we can say high GDP is creating high currency supply, and that creates inflation.

Everyone have their own style of trading of course, but fundamentals are easy believe me. When i was new in learning fundamentals, it all seemed too complex but after a year or two you get good at it

~1.3786 is a major support from 1.34's , at this moment. Maybe it will bounce from here.

i didn't find Tech easy and fundie is more complicated than tech..i respect Bones doing both for 14 yrs or more..

You only need tech ,
all I can say is if news comes out and the market moves its a dangerous game to think anything else but how much it moved,
this is fatal flaw to Nordlings explanation which he's second guessing the actual news & reaction or even looking at other lower impact news often to explain the move against the view.

I was never a good student in school so i don't think it's about intelligence Everyone have the head for it, it's about patience i think. I have failed a million times and i still do some fatal mistakes, it's alright though, failure is a great teacher!

this is the reaction to lower GDP than expected ,to think thats a fake out, algo's, market maker looking for better price or whatever is risky
the weekly is 3 week bearish today

something else can change the picture

Lately, i am analysing the past rather than the future. Especially my best and worst trades. And i have realised something very simple but fatal. I paid attention to the economic indicators such as inflation and growth, but i downplayed the importance of the Central Bank meetings and speeches. Lately i am working on that. Especially after cutting losses on GU last week. And oh my, i could have avoided some big losses if i paid attention to that before.

I have paid about 140 euro commission today, and I ended small positively despite the bad trade in usdchf.

But the way to earn money are the commissions
