You know I started 8 years ago only to show my trades in public, a way to reduce some stupid way to trade,idiot mistakes, and to improve my trading way and to share some ideas, included some notes of personal life + pics of sports, food, trips, music, cars and so on.
So it was and it is a pure naive spirit.

Time after time this journal has become a serious engagement for me and luckily my trades are doing so well, despite some natural mistakes happening sometimes.
But my journal and my friends here are my luckycharm, and I'm always engaged in improving this journal and my trades.

Yes, I dont recommend anything here, I dont teach anything here, but I'm happy if I can save and warn someone from this temptations world and help to take CUM GRANO SALIS everything they say or it happens in this crazy circus.

I have now only 3 FDXS long 551,5.
+57 pips FDXM gained so far rotday.

keep on adding 53..zone and probably even below 48--49--zone, last friday lows.

Again, above 530 zone for DAX FUTURES i see no problem for my longs, specially now that I have reduced my positions.

Neither 59..zone nor 54..zone so far.....after nearly a couple of hours during US session.
Anyway DAX seems not so strong as it was at the morning open.

When there is this dichotomy in US between DOW JONES (positive) and NASDAQ (negative) one will lead the other after a while, but if they keep going this way after some hours, there's high chance indecision will win and the positive remain positive while the negative Index will remain negative at the official close.

So I guess, the divergence you see in VIX US, it's for now only temporary waiting the final decision between the 2 opposite Indices.

I used to have very similar experiences. What helped me was strictly forcing me to just follow the current move. The hardest part (and sometimes I still struggle) was to overcome my impulses to jump in counter-trend.

Then I don't look at single bars anymore. In fact I overide bar coloring and everything is colored as "up", "down" or "range". To these colors my trading has to stick, no fancy bar analysing.

Another thing I could not trade without: I always have both SP500 and DAX in front of me, with same resolution and same setup. The amplitude of rotations differs but trends correlate strongly. Many times things invisible in one instrument are clearly visible in the other. For example the DAX move upward at 15:30 CET was easily predictable in DAX (there was a LVN at 13:54 CET), not so in SP500. On the other hand the DAX leg down at 17:45 CET was difficult to see beforehand. However, in SP500 the move was clearly in the cards 20 minutes earlier.

Of course this all is much easier said as done, and there are situations when I have to decide whether a rule should be broken. In hindsight it looks too easy...

When DAX hit today's low at 550 zone, your M1 chart was green mode, so I supposed that until 550 the chart indicated a possible trend up, while US SP500 at same time indicated a grey zone, neutral zone. So in this specific case. lets say DAX leaded the recovery mode.
What would be your action?, taking into account that sometime US SP500 lead the DAX and sometimes the opposite?
