Hi StewartR,
We met a while back and you have strongly influenced my trading.
Your ideas of 1. Trend 2. Barrier rejection and 3. Confluence of indicators has been very helpful.
I recently added the matrix from the Genesis thread to my trading.

As a new FF member, I cannot post my trades yet, and some threads will not let me post, until I become a full member.

I hope you are doing well.

You once told me that Dick was using the 21,55, and 89 emas. I have been using the 20,50 and 200 emas to determine the trend.
For barriers, I have been using Daily and Weekly Pivots. They are great.
For Exhaustion at the Barrier, I have been using the 15m and 5m stochastic.
For momentum I have been using the TDI.
For confirmation I have been using the Genesis Matrix.

I have a goal of 2% per day. Since I size the trades at 2% = 20 pips, my goal is just 20 pips. So using a high probability setup, of trend + barrier + price proving the barrier to have held, 20 pips a day is a reliable goal. THere is no need to scale in or out. I just go for 20 pips and take it as an all or none type of thing.

This thread is excellent. I trade very similarly. I have read about 200 posts so far and look forward to posting my own trades here, following the process and ideas started by Stewartr

Here is a perfect low risk setup. This is what I am looking for.
Trend + Pull back + Oscillator Extreme + Price action.
Look for 2:1 reward to risk.

All euro pairs are giving entry signals. I will only take two pairs as the correlation almost doubles the risk.

Homework for the coming week has been done. Now waiting for a pull back in the direction of the daily trend, with entry on a pull back in the 4 hour chart.

Just stumbled upon this thread by accident a few days ago and it was great to read Stewart's journey from 2007-2010.
Really inspiring stuff!!!

@StewartR, if you are still around, I would personally love to hear how you have evolved with your trading since your last post here at FF.

Cheers!!!

I was re-reading this thread and thought I’d post it to bump it up the forum for newer members to review.

For me, this thread is solid gold with a timeless and proven trading strategy.

Such a shame stewartr no longer posts but I sincerely hope he’s alive and well and sitting on a beach somewhere enjoying his profits from years of successful trading!
