hi, does this method still work?? i tried to use the EA attached but it keeps telling me to update, is there an update i could download?

I started using this since last Monday. I'm still tweaking it a bit. I use small lots. Will get into the big numbers at a later time.

One order was already taken at t/p.

I will take a look at the EA later as well.

i am trade manually just opposite to this EA it gives good results, so kindly modify for reverse trades, means,, sellstops orders become Buystop AND BUYSTOPS become sellstops
So what you are trying to say is:

Long orders:
1. Entry = Low-5pips, TP=15pips, SL=30pips
2. Entry = Low-5pips, TP=30pips, SL=30pips
3. Entry = Low-5pips, TP=50pips, SL=30pips

Short orders:
1. Entry = HIGH+5pips, Take Profit=15pips, SL=30pips
2. Entry = HIGH+5pips, Take Profit=30pips, SL=30pips
3. Entry = HIGH+5pips, Take Profit=50pips, SL=30pips

How are the results on this strategy?

Best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, second best is now
Any updates on this one about winning ratio? Seems like a good strategy...

Hi, This sounds a bit like what Carl Dittman is advocating but is selling this strategy for $54!!. I e-mailed him with what was on this and he confirmed it was pretty much same! Here on Forex Factory it is a lot cheaper.

Anyway I have a question. When you say look at the high and the low of the previous 17 hours do you also include the pin bits of the candle or is it just the body you take account of. This would make a difference because the pins (or shadows whatever you call them) are sometimes quite long. Also why do you have to set these at a specific time, can you not do this strategy at any time of the day, again looking at the previous 17 hours. I did see another site that advocated that you take the high or low of the previous day on the daily chart and then set and forget as per your instructions, ie you do not look at the high and low of the previous 17 hours only just 12 hours or less. I am really interested in this strategy and am trying to test it on a demo account but I need to get my head around the details. Would say making these orders at 7.00 am GMT be ok, using the high and the low of the previous day which closes at 0.00.
You have to consider every pin. All candles are formed by battles between bulls and bears and pins are part of that, only they were rejected by the other guys.

It'd be interesting to have more info about some one who traded this, but I personally would do something else, althought I must admit that auto systems are really seductive once you have them up and running.

your ea is ok for me.can you please tell me which setting setting i need to change.MY way is calculate asian session hi - lo then entry.

i see that you set previous 17 hour hi lo.if i need to change it like that it only calculate specific time hi-lo.what i need to change?

in my mt4 asian session closed at 12.00 pm
i need to change it to extern int DayStartHour = 12.00 pm

in my mt4 asian session time 00.00 am to 11.59 pm
extern int LookBackHours = 12;

what will be the order expiration date cause i close all trade 11.59 pm
I have tried and test this method with just one position, but result is not good. Not sure if 3 buystop and sellstop would work. Maybe someone may clarify this system, is trade management issue or system probability issue?

I am A small Money Trader. So i can't take 3 order at a time because of money management.

So i make some changes.. Some one please make an EA for this settings....

Details:


Buy Stop: previous Day candle High + 5 PIP

Sell Stop: previous Day candle low - 5 PIP

SL & TP 30 PIP.

SL & TP Will be modify manually on settings

If previous Day Candle close green then only open Buystop and If previous Day Candle close red then only open Sellstop
I am trying this out. Hope all is well.
Would this strategy work on FIFO rule ?
I'm live in GMT +7
And always get up early for runing in a lake
This strategy so helpful for me
