BullBear, how have you been brotha? Gotta go outside and bring in the meat from the pit. You know, I leaned something a couple of months ago. I started buying meat from Sam's. Choice grade Angus, but in the Cryovac bags. If you want Sirloin, request Top Sirloin Butt in COV. Here it is $4.53lb. Takes 10 minutes max to cut it up into steaks and package. I season it and let sit in fridge for 2 days before freezing it. In Texas they sell these seasoned steaks for $11/lb, or $8/lb at grocery store unseasoned. Fabulous stuff. Like I said, Choice grade. Select is rough, Choice is middle, Prime is top. Bought 200lbs of Choice beef to process at home. Killed a lot of deer(500 lbs no bone), & 15 wild pigs. Hence the time off from FF. Still working on another 500 lbs of deer this month(we have ranches and use the kids deer licenses), going to pick up more beef. Pigs we shoot year round, and I fish year round. Unfortunately I still have to buy Chicken Breast at 1.99/lb from butcher who cuts all waste and vacuum packs every breast. I am a breast man! LOL

Likely not, but beef is forbidden from what I understand of their culture. Indian food is one of the best of foods. We used to go to Indian buffets until Covid-19 changed everything. I miss it.

If anybody is wondering, NO I do not make bacon from wild pig. The meat is to lean which makes bad bacon. To much work, easier to buy at grocery store.

Understand about the beef, that is why I was wondering about the vegetarian meals. India has amazing herbs and spices for vegetarian.

Wow... that's life out there! Now i understand why you trade like retired. I love the dried deer meat, it is the tastiest.

Indeed! They also have some excellent chicken recipes. Tandoori Chicken, when made right, is amazing! And Chicken Tikka Masala is one of my favorites.

Try sprinkling some smoked paprika on the chicken when you grill it. It also goes good on salmon.

Honestly, I started using Jimmy O's Fajita Rub, Spicy Rub, and Peach & Pepper Marinade a week ago. Absolutely love the Spicy Rub on steaks, and Peach & Pepper on Chicken. The spicy uses paprika. Typically I use my own recipes, but thought I would try this based on others here locally speaking about it. So far I love it, but still prefer my fajitas marinated in Ken's Zesty Italian salad dressing for 48 hours before grilling on pit for both beef and chicken breast fajitas. Now the other side of making fajitas good is home made tortillas, or at the very least having a piece of flat cast iron(Comal) to warm them up on. Okay, going back for seconds.
