I don't know how true this is, but my observation of the minimum reversal movements on Cable is that:

5 min needs at least 10 pips
15 min needs 20
1hr - 40
4hr - 80
Daily needs 160
Weekly needs 320
Monthly all the way to 640

If I took every 5min reversal, I would lose money. I noticed that taking the second reversal (a change in trend of highs and lows), is more reliable. Such a signal on a larger timeframe seems more accurate.

What I'm hoping to do is to ride the Monthly wave up, and I don't know if it's started yet, but we had one impulse up (2000 pips), and one down (almost 800 pips). The question is, whether the last low is the actual bottom of that impulse down.

I've been adding to the long position, and hope to ride it out. This is the second time in my life that I'm letting myself stay in the trade and see the benefits. I'm still trading tiny accounts so that I don't lose the farm.

If Cable stays it's course, there is a chance to reach 1.4 in two to four months (100EMA on the monthly).

I can't seem to day trade to save my life, but entering during the day seems fine with me, and then being happy with a winning position and a break even stop has been working with my psychology. I have no clue if I will be able to make it in Forex even though I've been playing with it on and off since 2004...

It's been very interesting reading your discussions on here, and kudos to all of you who manage to rip some money out of the market.

The truth is no one really knows for sure where the market will go , we all just try to follow it , stick with following the trends only
