Check this out!

Upload the following indicator to your chart. Set the period to 8, the 1st band to 0.5, and the 2nd and 3rd bands to 0.0 (zero). And set the button to true.

Then add the Stochastic indicator to your chart using his settings of 30, 15, 1. Overbought at 75 and oversold at 25.

After you have done that, go to EURUSD and look at the 4HR chart. Examine how it all flows and see the potential! Digger1's Stochastic settings appear to work very well with the VWAP bands indicator on the 4HR chart (using the settings I have given you).

He uses different settings depending on time frame. He gave me his settings that I use in m30. But I barely use it coz I trade differently. But I still want to continue to learn from him. Also from Dingoman2. My mind is just stubborn coz what I am doing now is giving me consistent results and I don't want to mix it with other method. It may cloud my judgment. But when I become mechanical with my own, I will surely try to learn their method.

If you've got something working for you, then it's wise to stick with it. But that 4HR chart with the info I shared with you in my previous comment might come in handy for higher time frame trading.

Skew as in the shape of the implied volatility curve. It's usually referred to as a smile because the at the money options have cheaper volatility built into them, while farther out of the money options have higher volatility in their price. For example, in crude oil, CL, the out of the money puts are valued way higher than the calls, people are afraid of oil falling apart, but not afraid of a spike up. In the old days, it was always the opposite, people weren't afraid of oil going down, but afraid of a big spike up. Futures prices on currencies are just simple math, nothing to learn from it. It is just the cost of carry via the current interest rates of the currency pair. It used to be much higher before zero and negative rates. 24 pip premium of December contract will go to zero, but it will take 97 days until it expires, so 24 divided by 97 is about one quarter of a pip per day.

Focus on how he strikes. Where he put his entry, the timing, the bias and exit. He usually gives his insights, ask what are those he look for or check to decide which direction he will take, what level he is looking to set his mark and strikes, etc.. Those indicators, he clearly said, are just a guide, not a signal. But it is good to play with those tool to get the feel and used to it.

I will try that in my swing trading. Damn, i got too much to try now. I got OhComeOn method lined up too. Haha but it is good to have assorted weapons in my arsenal. Lol

I think EURUSD will continue to go down further. It's funny how it started to go down shortly after news came out expressing concerns about the Euro growing too fast and strong against USD. Can't ignore fundamentals. I need to spend more time looking into fundamentals.

OhComeOn has an excellent strategy. I also use that one, but you have to be patient waiting for the setups.

Im going crazy... omg market dropping like there is no tomorrow... Im up everywhere.. forex and stocks. I cant handle this emotion man .
tesla is now at 310...

and up on 70pip eu and 150 on uc...
uc will retrace tmr and jump up on the news. Will confirm that trade tmr.

It was a strong resistance that turned to support. I seriously doubt it will fold without a fight. It will bounce back and forth before one will give up. So I will scalp some bull for just 10pips each.

It hasn't violated prior lows or the main uptrend line from May. Has to do something pretty soon, can't stay under the recent downtrend line and avoid violating the uptrend. Looks to me like the lines cross in about 24 hours.

So far, EUR is leading the way up. Is this it for the tops? Not sure yet.

The longer the trend, the longer the correction/consolidation. Most fundamentals driven trends do not simply make u-turns. Before taking the next leg higher/lower, the market needs time to digest the initial move and draw in more buyers/sellers or remove the fundamental reason (yield difference), in order to reverse the direction.
