LDFX - where is your account? How do we know that you know how to trade? When you last made a trade? 10 years ago? What are you talking about? From where come your "guru" background? You joined 2012... and no real (just demo...) trades made? Really nothing to show?

LDFX - before you demand an account from other people show your account first, ok? Otherwise just cheap talking from you "nothing is possible"... it is the same as "everything is possible"... you are the same dreamer... but your dream (or nightmare...?) is "nothing is possible".

Glad you brought that up.

First I do not put up unrealistic numbers out of the blue just to fit the delusional expectations of many new traders, only way for them to dream about getting rich quick, without backing it up.

Secondly I have at least a one year profitable demo account with low drawdown to show, which is mine. Many, if any, can’t even provide that. Show me just one demo account with a 50000% yearly return if you are saying it is probable, show me one that has a tremendous return on equity (1/3% a day) on 12 months with a drawdown that is not 90%.

Anyway it is ok to post anything, what wouldn’t be ok is to not have a challenging post in return. Also Abokwalk for example is around since 2012 and a high impact member. Either he hasn’t learned a thing, or he has and just post some pleasing theory to fit the
thread by saying what is wanted to be heard. But again, if he could show one year demo account backing up his view, as I do, I would respect his post much more.

Also I never ever said nothing is possible but rather that everything is possible, which is actually the problem. Because a trader should focus on probability and not on greed/unrealistic expectations that are “possible” in the absolute, otherwise ending up in the loosing pool, as the vast majority.

Do you want to be a successful trader by making a living out of trading each year in and out by managing your risk or do you just want to get high like a gambler in a casino ? It is “possible” though to hit the jackpot but very unlikely, everything is possible in the absolute, this is the gambler fallacy.

Trading is not that, it’s about probabilities. Being profitable means long term positive expectancy (edge), which is impossible without probabilities in your favor, which can’t be done without low/very low risk aversion.

I'm tired reading your attack mode of writing, no wonder you wonder how i have you here...lol

Now just saying everything is possible is not wrong... most profitable trader's don't need to declare anything on forums just to share an idea. The moment someone with a PhD puts up a guide for living it's either you work with what they say, or you go beyond it. The records Usain bolt has broken was said to be impossible once, now I'm sure persons training are saying its possible.
So my reason for saying anything is possible can be read multiple ways, no one way to failure or success.
90% draw down is easily achievable if risking 5% per trade on multiple assets all at once. Stress test is not meant to prove success but only where a system is likely to crack, like a pipe will crack under pressurized test or any other thing, its just to identify weakness.
There are profitable people out there and they don't spend as much time back and forth replying and searching for comments etc. Not saying anyone here is wearing the shoe, but trust me not everyone who is living by trading need to prove it, or else we all will be saying prove it. Not because it doesn't happen for you or me doesn't mean it doesn't happen for someone else.
Nevertheless people can find lots of ideas, self challenges etc through forums like this...

You can always take a donkey to the water but you can't force it to drink. No need to shove your points with razors wrapped around it. Whoever finds information or something to grab from your examples will. Who don't believe what you are saying will eventually learn but don't be all attack, attack... attack.

I see you risked 10% dd in 1 trade in your demo... lucky you. Your martingale survived that - you traded from 0.1 to 15 lots... full internet with martingale "success" in short-term (125 trades is short-term even if 1 year... not enough statistics here if using martingale which is very risky approach)

Lol, are you calling me a hypocrite by any chance ? That is something from someone that hasn’t any trend Explorer to show, only being able to argue about mine because I made it open to everyone. While at best you just hide yours, at worse haven’t made it up to 12 months. Quite a paradox innit ?


My trend Explorer is there since more than 2 years for everyone to see with all the stop, drawdown, leverage and take profit per position, nothing hidden. Funny you think you “discovered” something though. Also I thought you were more familiar with martingale, which I haven’t used once, a martingale is averaging down with higher leverage, what additional trades did I take during this drawdown or any other ? None. Did you check the leverage, risk and drawdown of the other 123 trades ?

Did you really naively thought that I was against high leverage, no stop stop loss/high risk without having it done myself in the past ? Like I was some sort of risk virgin ? I have never hidden the fact that I did. This is exactly why all my posts on this thread are about low risk and that I do know what I am talking about, because I have done that, been there. But I guess you are still there...

Or maybe you are saying that no stop loss/ high leverage is absolutely wrong and no way to trade successfully ? Then you are right and we are on the same page, it is what I have been saying all along.

to say say the least I am very surprised and disappointed that you jump on the gun so fast and are so pleased about the wrong fact that I used martingale.

Your Trading, is/or has been, very focused on martingale, did you see anything on my demo trend Explorer that shows I used martingale ?

I didn't look at your demo. I just went by what the other member said. I'll let him explain about it.

I run a demo with a new strategy and after a few days I access the trades and make adjustments to make it better. Once I have done that. I need to see the effects of the change. There is no sense having the trades of the previous system and the trades of the new improved system together. It wouldn'6t give me the information that I need to look at to see if things have indeed improved or not.

That is the sort of things demos are for. Obviously you ran the same system for a whole year and were satisfied with it. That's your style. My style is definitely not the same as yours.

Hint re martingale or hedge etc: No one comes in and says I am going to martingale and make money....No one comes and says I am going to hedge to profits...Maybe they do but not me. As I discussed the subject of 'good entries' with you before, that is my thing. If they happen to be not so good, I know what to do instead of cut and run.

Martingale and hedge etc. are tools that are hanging on my wall with their shapes traced around so I know I have them and if I need them I'll grab and use them as I decide. I don't know if you have any tools or not but I have them and I am not ashamed of having or using them. I even have a kitchen sink ready to be flung at my trades if I need to.

BTW, I have had many demos that have ran up to 400 or 500% and after I was done with them, in the garbage they went. I don't hold onto historic trophies. If you start a new demo, maybe I'll look at it but your old one, sorry. I can't be bothered to look at.
Those demos that I deleted. as you saw, I ran one up to 4% and the other to 7% in a couple of days and deleted them because I went real with them...as I mentioned it to you in my PM's....if you read any.

Lol, why Usain Bolt is so famous and recognized worldwide? Not because his record was hidden or private, or like many claiming that this and this is possible, but because Usain Bolt proved it BIG TIME !

And it actually proves my point again ! How many of us run ? Yet what Usain Bolt did is possible but what are the odds ?

I understand that some of my posts might sounds arrogant, but it is actually the other way around. The market has taught me humility and the posts saying making 50000% a year, 1/3% every day, are the arrogant ones, their learning curve isn’t at there yet.

I just wanted to share my experience but have realized that most, if not all, just want to hear what they want they to hear. A post said that I am a kind of a self proclaimed guru, but a guru has followers, I am actually the black sheep in this thread because I say the unsexy truth.

Anyway I heard you, I won’t bother you by posting anything new on this thread, just answering when I am quoted if you will allow me.

You better than anyone will realize that it is absolutely not true and not obvious like you said. How could say it is “obvious” ? Just check by yourself.

Cause I can't imagine anyone changing their system and understand the accumulative results by looking at the mixed trades in the history.
Maybe you are a trading savant with a photographic memory...or maybe you run a spreadsheet on the side. IDK. Not my style.

Put all of this back and forth a side, is there an arrow that does not repaint, a system that is just pure straight forward? Is there a group of persons who actually worked on a system that doesn't use discretionary factors?
