Thanks StevePatt, I think this is called Higher High, Lower Low Strategy. It shows trend continuations. Bu we must keep in mind that every trend has an end.

In this topic's strategy, it is attempted to know where the short trend ends and jump into the long term trend.

Hi all, hi TheBestMA,

think I trade something similar... so, if it's possible, happy to share some ideas/opinions in this thread.

for example, during the week just ended, I traded these couple of patterns:

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/I5...KXw7FZHEZ06R0c

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/lp...3uh0kgrO6I8vE8

both worked nicely, very straighforward to tp!

by the way, I'm almost new on FF, at least formally (reader by long time...), so nice to meet you

dvs

Hi TheBest,

I use Higher Time Frame Price Structure HH HL LH LL and then look for PullBacks on a Lower Time Frame to take a Trade.

Personally I use M15 Structure and look for PullBacks on M1 to take Trades mainly (these days) on the Dax because of its Volatility.

I've included a M1 Chart of Gold to get an idea of what I mean.

The Less Time Spent Exposed to Market Forces the better, especially in these unprecedented times.

If it doesn't help just ignore and move on.

would have been a beautiful trade --> tp (in front of next level) in less than 1 hour! but, unfortunately, I missed this one: my limit order at 174.32 was not it for a couple of ticks

I'll add this to the list of strategies I need to backtest then if I find it profitable, I will just add it to my trading toolbox, I already trade breakout so this will be perfect for my strategy. thanks

Do you use indicator as supporting tool or just naked chart?

Price action strategy is very good plus your eyes not too strain looking at colorful indicator. Naked chart all the way.
