thats why I said that pic gave me light bulb moment. Fti had told me in our discussion that there are two types of waves impulsive/ corrective. The pattern can’t trend unless the retracements are divorced. Rule for wave 4. So I took that as ...in order for a move to be deemed impulsive the retracements must Not overlap. Maybe that was my problem assuming that but I thought hats what he meant. Then when i saw the pic you posted I wondered why I didn’t realize it before but the retracements overlap in diagonals. So i should’ve elaborated.... retracements shouldn’t over lap(wave 4 rule) but may overlap in Diagonals... still a motive wave. Saying can’t is misleading . Markets can do what they want. It’s just different pattern.

thank you for the recommendation and I appreciate the nudges in the right direction of understanding. While I respect and understand the “moth commandment” and ftis teaching style which makes me use my brain and think. I do believe it’s a balance. It does someone no good to just give them the answer but it also doesn’t do much good to give nothing to work with... or be really ambiguous to where the meaning is indecipherable unless you already are aware of its meaning. I appreciate you giving me something to work with. Instantly when I saw the diagonal I understood. I will do my research and try to refine my undrstanding. Thank you sir

Note that this thing about waves three is another source of possible, easy misunderstanding!
Read with attention the proper Elliott rule!

In conclusion.
A Markets student must have two opposite skills at the same time.
> must be extremely precise and punctual: meticulous!
> must have a great capacity for imagination (and visualization)

How I have to consider that central congestion?
What about the larger degree?
What if we are now in an internal wave five?
All the wave (or sequence of waves) is strongly impulsive.

this is where it’s usefulness comes in I think. Learning the different structures and makeups of waves. And how to strategize them. Counting makes you sometimes imagine things that might not be there. You end up fitting them to the theory of 5 abc

Moreover, we must add to the normal difficulties in counting
the modern effect of the algo trading machines on the wave natural development.
Have you ever tried to imagine this thing?

absolutely agree, predicting waves is exactly the same as divination from a crystal ball, but on short timeframes we can use pulse waves and ride them - it works best!

Thank you for your comments. Mine is a 100 tick chart, which is why it looks slightly different. I usually use one position, but I usually scale out in portions. But you're right, here I could have managed it a little better.
