We are 22 of March and it's still incredible to read that "...you don't have much to worry about...",

Sorry to contradict you but I would rather say that indeed he should be worried and I advise them to stay at home the maximum they can and meet nobody until this nightmare terminates. Like the majority of people, you don't realize that your government, like all our governments, has been one step behind the pandemic since the beginning. They go step by step in the measures they take, while the pandemic grows exponentially meaning that the infected people doubles every three days unless strict confinement measures are taken, so yes, he has to worry.

I live in Switzerland and have my parents in Spain, 2 weeks ago I was already telling to my parents to not go out for anything except medical reason or for food, they told me that the virus wasn't in Spain yet but had to insist and told them how catastrophic was the situation in Italy and that for sure it would be the same in the rest of Europe and rest of the world, thanks god, they listened to me and they remained at home, they are ok until this day but I remain worried because the peak is still not there and they still need to go out like all of us and this is when you are at risk.

So, let me give another advice to JustPipMe, call your family and urge them to stay at home and go out only for food and medicine if needed because the pandemic will arrive for sure there too.

Now, let's take the USA case. When something grows exponentially, it means that it doubles every 3 days, so let's do the math for USA since March 1 and calculate what should be the situation today:

March 1 = 75 cases, March 4 => 150, March 7 => 300, March 10 => 600, March 13 => 1200, March 15 => 2400 ,March 18 => 4800, March 21 => 9600

But today you see 26892 (+2685), that is to say 24207 for March 21, Instead of 2600 !!! ?

So, all this to say that the stats are wrong, I just proved it to you, and this is simply because not enough people are being tested meaning that the virus is more present and in more places than we all think.

Good time to buy stocks again monday tuesday it's not a recomandation. the next 2 weeks will be the most difficult. and the worst sentiment ever.
I'm a graham and buffet son. so buying is not like a stock dropped . .. margin of safety

on the other way. a lot of businesses will go bankrupt. or Gator plan will be in force
things like this are happening here. everything is delayed on payments. from utilities to rent, banks, so i hope i don't run out of stocks now that after years of going up they are beginning to look buyable. i also like to write here to see how I was thinking on the end of the world.

of course worst ever case scenario is this thing to mutate into a stronger virus. than ... well it's game over.

Corona viruses are known by the scientific community to be stable (no mutations), let's hope that the worst ever case scenario won't realize...
