Shakeout is at bottom of the down trend, take out buyers stops and take in more sellers. 1 and 2 is nothing, 3 is two bar reversal
You could read and learn, it`s not so difficult.
GBPCAD now 1.7590, so gap up there too

An interesting little tidbit.

I believe I have watched about 98% of all of Tradeguider's videos. Of all the videos (webinars) with Philip Friston, the man widely believed to be the foremost authority on VSA since Tom Willam's passing, I never saw any chart with profile lines on them. But in one recent video, he stresses the importance of using VSA in conjunction with Volume Profile.

So would you rather listen to Philip Friston or Forex Factory keyboard jockeys?
VSA works on all time frames! A month and a half ago I was discussing with a friend about global situation on OIL. It tested the range on MN time frame and the only option was to go down, at least to the lowest level. Unfortunately I completely forgot about this

i could grab the fraction of sell off after 5. 1:2 RR secured as it was very quick scalp.
EDIT: well, after trading and posting it, i realized that 4,5 appeared after lower trigger line break of HVZ. just wow. if i could have observed it earlier that was a trade worth holding a little longer.

by chance i came across it while scanning; realized the H&S pattern; after looking at very high volume bars and no follow up (no result), i quickly turned to right shoulder and there was an upthrust followed by downbar on high volume. entered with tight stop loss and trailed but closed manually.

both are straightforward setups (upthrust, no demand in downtrend) after bearish activity or no result from effort suggested by malcolm for newbies in VSA like me.
