You are spot on there

I really wouldn't want to Trade on a full time basis

When I start to slow down work wise I'll gradually increase my Trading Bank but not to a degree where it starts to play with my head

Cable 00-00 4 hour bar break.....
High broke and Failed, i am short with a counter. Lets see.

Dax, the break at midnight would of brought a lot in , but i did not trade it.
Was sleeping plus i dont need it, lol
Trade well.

Cable 00-00 4 hour bar.
High broke not long ago and i am Long, the range is 43, ideally it could be lower. looking for 20, but a ni9ce retracae to break low would be nice.

I traded Dax after midnight, this was not trading but STEALING. lol. Trade well all.

Yep, The DAX was there just begging while I waited for my second game of the night to kick off and well, it would have been rude not to get involved!

Cable 08-00 165 minute bar. the low broke . i did not trade it as the range was too big,,, BUT it would of been a good trade.

what’s your profit targets for 00-00 4 hour bar. Half the ADR or just fixed 20 points? What prevents your taking the trade if the range is too big?

Hi and hope you are well.

Originally i used this 00-00 4 hour range to fix a failed trade off a different time frame.
The 00-00 4 hour bar/candle is very good at helping to show the average daily range.

BUT.... the first break is harder to trade off as we do not know how far it will move.
High might break and keep going or vice versa, i just wished it was that easy. lol
BUT if one end breaks and then retraces to break other end, this is easier to chase the daily range. Because quite often it does the second break and then makes the adr . i then take a percentage.

i am trying not to make this post long.
If the 00-00 range is example 20, i usually say i aim for 10/15 points/
today it is 43 so i went for 20 BUT the fail happened which had to be corrected.
i fixed the - 43 plus i got my 20, this does not always happen.

It is all numbers,percentages and not being greedy.

as i said earlier.. the adr is 113 and the 00-00 range is 43, which is 39% so we have 61% to play with.

I've finished at 10 am and Mrs T hasn't found me and given me household chores to do. And she has gone out with her girly friends for coffee.
I am looking at the dax chart and testing forward crosses of the Ichi lines ( Yellow) ignoring the cloud ( which normally keeps me long or short biased ) - what interests me is the use of a slow ma ( Ichi) as a trigger. Not my idea -I lifted it off the "Nononsenseforex" You Tube site -I have posted same earlier on this thread. Like Billy and others state on his thread here ' small 5 or ten pips per trade is more likely to put your account in the black as opposed to aiming for the moon with each trade.'
I am not a big time trader but someone who grubs about for enough dosh to pay for holidays and to pay my SAGA magazine account.
Ah - the sun has come out -perhaps I can sneak to the local Costa for a sarnie and coffee plus a squint at the paper. Might even pretend to look at my mobile and count the 'likes' whilst there, so I don't look out of place among the younger set
