I like what I see now, but better wait till H4 closes and confirm there is a Higher High with Higher Close candle.

now we know when he said do not add other indicators, you read all his posts in his old thread, those indicators which he tested back then did not suit his aggressive trading style. Stochastics and RSI work best for him. Both are oscillators and show price momentum.

How many members have complained over the years and ask you not do introduce other indicators.

not much happening on H4 so the better idea is to day trade this on H1 and M15.

Weekly is in a range for 5 weeks and may get tighter if this week close with a small candle. As long as Weekly does not make either HL HH with higher Close or LH LL with lower Close, this will remain sideways for sometime longer.

H4 is trading within that Weekly High - Low.... 230 pips.

hey Tekkies

start all over again and you will learn in your future what you do not yet know today.

study all the OP's post in Forex Factory. Pay attention to details what were written in words and even more important is to pay attention to details on the charts he attached. You will learn which are the indicators he tried and tested. There a a long list of standard MT4 indicators, which ones did he test between 2008 and 2011?
Try them yourself and you will learn why those few indicators did not suit his aggressive trading style.
There are lots more indicators which he mentioned and he had not tried nor tested them all.
Have you seen his 19 templates of charts?

Do not concern yourself with my trading. I stick to my use of the common indicators - Stoch and RSI as my core trading methodology. I also use the APB/HA and a few moving averages in my templates.

About using custom indicators like the TDI, my conclusion is still the same:

Too much time is being spent on TDI and Stochastics,
Too little time on Price Action and Support/Resistance.
And no time spend on Money Management, Risk Management for entries and exits, When to Cut-Losses short and How to Let Profits Run.
You need to find your WINNING EDGE and the TDI is not in the winning edge equation.

Hi emmanuel, do you know if a double inside/outside bar indicator exists? I'm after two inside or outside bars in a row, which indicates a possible triangle pattern on a lower time frame.

All I can find are single inside/outside bar indicators.

I use Inside Bar as one of the definition what small candles are.
Master Candles are consolidation zones.

there are others which you can consider to use to interpret what Post#647 said about big candles, small candles, consolidation, etc.
