So why did I cut in the last trade and let this trade run into big drawdowns???, the trade before I had F/cap as a cushion to play with and this FOMC was likely to generate a big move, the ‘best outcome’ choice for the state was to give some of the F/cap back rather than increase my exposure risk, here I had little/no F/cap so I am fighting on death ground (not death battle note) from the outset therefore my calculations of the trade and strategies are different, here I must use my personal tolerances and feel for what I am doing during the battle as it unfolds, nothing is ‘fixed’ in my head because of the death ground I am already fighting on, now this is ok when you have the experience to deal with this type of situation, I do not recommend it if you are fairly new to trading or not well practiced in deep recoveries, remember there are no short cuts, it is all down to experience and how well you know the totality of what you do.

Again remember what I am showing is for demonstration purposes, I am not trying to teach anyone ‘how to trade’ or trying to prove anything, knowing how and being well practiced at digging yourself out of the holes we create for ourselves will give us better confidence to deal with whatever situation we put ourselves in which in turn will I hope lead you to develop your own way of trading in a confident and strategic manner using the core basics of the TAF thread presented by our friend FTI.

Ah, that's a shame Phil, I for one have enjoyed reading - following your journal and found it inspirational..I do however totally understand where you are coming from, this place, at times, can be a test of mental strength, especially when there is so much more happening in the world outside.

TAF had become a very unfriendly place. a disciple will only get curses and bad words (mostly) rather than anything useful. tried searching why FTI left FF. sorry i give up.

those words i wrote in TAF were just based on the recent posts i read and my understandings based on that. i dont know who is interacting with master in the social media and the politics connected with it. i do not have time for that (very old and health is failing my friend).

i know you are looking down at me (like an inferior). in my culture, it is confirmed (not belief ... like if you dont know you believe), that death is just a change of avatar. there may be fear but i hope he does not feel any pain. master is well prepared for leaving this world. i will think about him when i meditate. why i am saying this to you, my friend, please dont think death is very bad.

i am old and my health is failing. my eyes are flowing with tears when i stare the monitor. so i am qualified to say this. i am prepared to die. just want to save some for my ittle boy.

Hi friend,

First of all, thank you very much for the last post EU, it has been very enriching and didactic. You are very generous and kind, I think that in this thread you already have all the necessary keys, at least to start and develop a successful trading. I've spent some time practicing your combat tactics in a separate account. Little by little I am getting results (now regrouping scouts in the UJ) Thank you very much.

What has happened is terrible. IMHO too much ego, and some frustrations. I have been shocked by your last message, I understand what you say and feel, and I suppose I would also get tired of it ...

I just wanted to say goodbye, throw a hug and wish you the best for someone who selflessly (not even to satisfy your ego) has provided magisterial lessons totally free. I wish you the best for you and yours, you are a great person Phil.

If you still read FF - this post, you are kindly welcome to come and share, just writing a word and I will see that you are fine. Your simple presence is already a good sign - example for those who value or need it.
You have done your best and helped other traders or just readers here. Should your Ego decide to leave FF, your own Journal and that for your benefit, or think this place does or will make more bad than good, - I understand and respect.
I will recommend your Journal as a fair one for other traders in need and research as I have already been doing.

Thank you to my friends who left kind and thoughtful messages for me, I dislike leaving things unfinished so here is the rest of that trade I was posting. Maybe I will post again and continue this journal as our friend FTI is now back and things appear to be calmer and sorted but for now I have other commitments I must carry through so I do not have enough time to post lots of trades and the money management part of what I wanted to post is all here now for you all to see how I trained within that particular skill, it is extensive as it is a very important and complex part to understand and I hope some benefit from what I have shown in this part of my journal.
