I probebly will not post anymore for some time.

I will work out some new stratgies in combination with US Micro lots (if there is any volume in the beginning).

Some screen shots with data re. the new to launch Micro E-Mini contracts, taken from a Yesterday held CME Group webinar.
Micro E-Mini contract trading will start Monday May 6th.

Micro E-Mini contracts are not usefull for scalping (same for CFDs). To expensive broker/contract costs.
1 Regular E-Mini contract is split in 10 Micro E-Mini contracts. That means more round turn broker costs per Micro E-Mini contract.

Round turn costs for a Micro E-Mini contract are a little lower (30%/40%) per contract then round turn costs for an E-Mini contract, but overall trading with 10 Micro E-Mini contracts will cost average 5 times more then trading with 1 E-Mini contract.

Advantage: If you trade lets say 1 E-Mini contract, you can scale out (close) with 10 Micro E-Mini contracts on the way up/down.
You can stay longer in a trade with the last few Micro E-Mini's running.
Its the same way of trading I do now with CFDs already .

For new fresh traders (small account) its a good way to start trading/get the feeling with the US index markets without much risk.
US$ 50,00 Intraday Margin for 1 Micro E-Mini contract.

Disadvantage: Once in a trade (with E-Mini & Micro E-Mini contracts) you can't hedge (take a short while still in a long trade), what you can do with CFDs. As far as I know, hedging is forbidden with Futures.
Round turn cost per contract as explained above.


Personal advantage:
A: If the markets make a (fast) drop (like Yesterday) I can place several Buy orders with Micro E-Mini's around %%% levels and/or important MP levels.
That are often counter trades with high risk.
Now I have to place several E-Mini's around an expected bounce %% level. With Micro E-Mini contracts I can do that with a much more relaxed feeling then doing that trick with several E-Mini's.

B: I can try to stay longer in a trade with the last few Micro E-Mini's then I do now with my last E-Mini contract. (often closed to early)

I wanted to see the launch from the E-Mini Micro's
Very little volume as expected.
It will take several Months before you can seriously trade the Micro's

But I didn't stayed up that late for nothing

Went long from 26K bounce (E-Mini)

NQ I went long 7715.25 above the -2.0%/7700 bounce (E-Mini's)

No trading in Micros for some time. To little volume.
Trading in the Micro's will come. Same as the start with the FDAXM.

NQ previous trade kicked out BE last lot

Went further down to -2.5% zone and old Weekly POC @ 7680 and last Weekly low
Picked up a waiting Buy order
So long again @7678 1 lot (E-Mini)
+35/36p so far

7700 zone is likely gone be tested again
SL +30p locked in
SL +40p locked in
FLAT +40p 1 lot only

DOW closed a TPO GAP/Pocket of 5/6 Weeks back down to -2.0%

If they can hold this level we could see a new drop to -3.0% and a Naked Weekly POC @ 25.600 zone

DAX also dropped -2.0% to an older congestion zone.

Next down target will be the -2.5% @ 12.150/140 zone and N POC of 4 Weeks back. Support zone there.

EU will be more worried now. EU will be the next target of Trump (again)

They will never become friens again.

DAX hit the -2.0% and bounced up

T2 +20p 1 lot
1 to go/SL BE
FLAT +15p last lot

But the DOW looks ready to go deeper. Have to wait for further US move(s)

These new trade tariffs were planned perfectly by Trump. Market hit or made new record highs.
It was time to cool down a little and make a correction.

China still wants to talk. Good chance this is forgotten within a few Days and the markets go up again.

Time (and my charts) will tell soon.

Not to bad Volume on the Micro's for the first Day. Promising.
