You are not trading Big E TMS 5-Method. You mislead members here with your M15H1 V-lines method.

Don't contact Dean Malone about the TDI. The way he uses it for his method is 180 degrees from how we use it... you need to learn how to use it our way...

The TDI is the heart of our method. It tells you when to enter and where to exit any trades... so review previous posts and learn it good.

HA Candles are important because it makes your trading way less stressful... use them.

Stoch's is nothing but confirmation. If Stoch's & the TDI give different signals... lights flash off and on warning me to take a closer look before entering.. and usually I look for another trade.

5 ema... shows direction currently... only wanting to enter on candle 1 or two. If there is a reversal do I have a TDI signal to enter... if not and all looks strong then enter on candle 2... use some discretion... practice on Demo... take some chances and see if yor head computer was right... it's free.

HA Candles... What are their size? If they are small I will usually go find another set up... Look for consolidation... look for how close PA is to supp/res levels... use your brain !

Believe it or not you have to participate and think... until it's so second nature... there is nothing to it... it's so simple... don't complicate it or you will lose...

Your safest trades will always be when green crosses red and you enter on candle 1 or 2... odds are in your favor. Why? Because I'm expecting 3-8 candles... which is average...

With bounce trades the odds are lower for your success... but it still works.

When wanting to enter a TDI trade... take a moment first to observe basic 4x things... like:

How close am I to the previous high or lo

Am I in an uptrend or downtrend.. short & long term...

Am I in or close to a consolidation area

Are the previous candles small...

Look at the candles on the last reversal... big, little, what

How does the momentum look right now (12-2, 4-6)

Does Stoch's confirm the TDI signal

Sounds like a lot of stuff but it's basic stuff and only takes a moment to observe it...

Learning the fx market is like going to school. It costs to go to school and your pip money for trades is what you use to learn. When you have a reliable method and confidence... the market starts to pay you for your education expenses... profit.

The only reason I deposited that amount is because I trade full lots and some trades have 2-4 lots on a trade... or I'll add additional lots as the trade is in progress.. no big deal...

I'm in this because it's fun, keeps my mind active and I'm good at it. Pretty cut and dried...

yesterday , you were on fire... today you need to concentrate on your M15H1 V-line drawing on your DE30 chart and make more money today to close this month.
After today month end closing, you need to analyse your trades and see if your have been CONSISTENT profitable in your two accounts for the past 9 months -- July 2018 till March 2019.

Follow TDI.
It is not what you trade, it is how you trade.
Fine tune the rule's given by BigE. Make them your own rules and apply them.
Used the H1 TDI angle to scalp (jump) those trade's.
Be careful when you do this. Check lower time frame like M5. Don't place a trade if the direction is not the same.

No amount of $ protection will prevent a margin call with such a strategy. Changing brokers or profile image will not help much either. The entire strategy of adding to losers no matter how small the microlots are or how big the trading capital is, is a failed strategy ingrained and supported by MATH. Only someone with mystical and magical powers can avoid a spike. The "hey, check the calendar, avoid the news events" logic is stupid. retarded, flawed, disillusioned and insane. It might have worked per-trump era.

That's a fair assessment, but I will add that he has been doing this for a couple of years, and some of his pairs have been in strong trends. He definitely uses a hard dollar stop along with trade aggregation and position management. I have been in discussions about overnight and inter session risk with other traders, and all of you have points that can be considered valid. My argument would be that spikes like the JPY flash crash can happen at any time and exposure to them is pretty much unavoidable in any instrument. You have limit up risks in commodities. Stock halts intraday with an resumption dollars away from last price. I wonder how many people were ruined on 911? When the futures exchanges closed? It does happen. Whether we are independent traders, work in a prop shop, or for an institution, there is no getting away from implied risk. Now again, Davit could definitely show his complete statement, however, not doing so does not necessarily invalidate the strategy in the proper hands. When I say that I do not know what else he can do I mean to say that he has repeatedly indicated that his strategy is not for beginners. There is an enormous difference between averaging down and scaling in, and he has said that beginners will mess this up every time.

It's funny about the yen pairs, the BOJ got me twice with interventions and I stopped messing with them. Was Davit lucky? Yes he was. Could he have blown up two years of work? Maybe. We do not have a complete picture of his risk profile. That is all I am saying.

I ran dozens of simulations of his strategy, with sl and no sl and many variations. Eventually, they all crash, unless the aggregated position size is very small
Interestingly enough, In the process, I found a method that does not (so far), but he is not doing that.

it comes down to this simple fact: if he keeps the positions size small relative to account size, and if he is lucky, his account should survive quite a while.
But then, that is true for any trading strategy..

If the claim is true that his account is over 100 K, then that free margin of 42.7 K is a bit of a concern if you do the math.

I tested EUR/USD, M15 & H1 with rules :

- TDI M15 cross green angle between 12/2 or 4/6
- M15 stochastic going in TDI direction
- TDI H1 green same angle as TDI M15
- H1 stochastic going in TDI direction

Using only above rules it's not working, but on DE30, for the last three months it's working well. No attack here, i like your idea so wanted to try on forex pairs

Take note:
- TDI M15 cross green angle between 12/2 or 4/6.
- M15 stochastic going in TDI direction.
- TDI H1 green same angle as TDI M15.
Do not wait for TDI H1 green to cross red. Only the angle must confirm M15 TDI cross over
- H1 stochastic going in TDI direction.

You should be in profit at the end of the month (01/03/2019 to 29/03/2019)
This hindsight trading show that the blue trend-lines are more and longer then the losing yellow trend-lines.

Hi Celal,

the best thing to do is forward test in live market conditions using MT5 starting on Monday and do this for the next 36 months to get some real results and fine tune your own trading rules.

the TDI and APB for MT5 are posted in this thread.

post you charts next week and I will be here to help you.

my own strategy testing software currently run only on MT4.

MT5 version still under development.
