I have a quick question if anyone knows how this works exactly. I had short position on gbpusd and my stop loss displayed on this chart is at the red line 1.2753 ish. I've read that when there is gap in the market during closed hours and the price trades though your orders, that order will get activated at the price wherever it opens up at. So in my case, the market spiked through it during closed times today however it's come back down so I'm wondering will I get stopped out at the red line or where the market will open up at? Or in this case would it get triggered at all? I'm on ICmarkets if that helps.

If they close your position it should close with first price aka open price.If they close it at your stoploss without market reaching that price before your broker opens up trading they probably are scam broker,cos if position gets closed they have to close at the first incoming price from LPs

I have the high as 1.2737 and dailyfx daily chart for GU confirms price, the only way it could have spiked to 1.2758 is your brokers spread could have expanded by over 20 pips and triggered stop loss(but you say it wasn't triggered)
I've been caught out in the past by an expanding spread triggering trades and once bitten like that you adjust accordingly, on the path to becoming a good trader maybe others have been caught in the same scenario?

Your Stoploss is right where i would place my sell order. It is where we saw previous Supply coming in. A large order is confirmed with a lovely strong thrust bar, sell order should be at the start of the move.

Not bad this usdx future bull try towards 96.57, so eu 1.1355,gu 1.2616 test to decide initially. Very likely continue down towards bottom but may waste more time before brexit effect next. Take care in scalping heaven ranges many many days still!!

Targets ok to low, ranging top further to tank .year end holiday movements not bad, restless a little to determine yearly candle !Gu 2666 limit to 2676+ to Low, eu 1.1385/1407+ to Low still!!

Considering year end flow and yesterday daily candle I am looking to short today. I don't believe we can break the 1.27 level today.

I am looking for short entries at 1.2680 and 1.2695. I hope I can get a good entry.

Mind, I could be wrong!
