When comes to account profitability, I have a mindset of an Investor.
Investor mindset cares more about the return.
While trader mindset is all about pips.

Investor care more about squeezing every pennies from the market. If the market is BE+ x pips, that’s already more than enough. Slow but surely it will be acumulated into a large amount.
If you go after pips, for sure you will be greedy which eventually you will/might widen your SL in order to keep the position alive and hoping it will hit your desired TP or pips.

Sometime I go for pips when my lot size is small.
I go for big money, when the lot size is >1 lot.

I hope I have explained what’s in my head clearly.. lol

Lol,, aint that the truth ,, wouldnt be suprised to see fx on some kind of regulated platform in the not overly distant future ,, ,, dropping all the leverage down in the regulated countries ,,, either that or just plain get the leveage so low everyone does switch to futures ,,, ,,hope your week was good man

IMO leverage doesn’t make you a better trader....
Leverage allows you to open less trades with significiantly lower size because it requires bigger margin in order to open a trade.
If 1:500 allows you to open 1 lot with $200, then with 1:100, you need $1000.
When you have $10k, you have 10 shots when use 1:100
But for 1:500, you have 50 shots to open trades and cover previous loses and win more....

That;s the power of leverage, it’s very very powerful.

The repsonsibility is to keep the account floats above the initial deposit and never get Margin Call, better yet keep it breakeven as possible with little profit. If one could keep making breakeven over and over and earned little profit, he will end up with a much bigger profit... I have been doing this for ages....

i understand....but someone that thinks they can make money opening a 1 lot with 200 dollars might as well put a gun to his head and pull the trigger

With good risk and money management, leverage should enable a trader have room for their trades to 'breathe' without being stopped out. One can have a leverage of 1000 and trade as if they had 100.

thats why at the least you shouldnt bother listening to people here when they give up s and r levels or breakout levels cause each broker for whatever reason has different candles. could be their servers your isp and computer or just the stupid traders on that broker or some bugs on the platform or more likely a combination of all that or even skullduggery by the retail broker ( i wanted to put that in for the conspiracy crowd LOL)

Nothing wrong with what you have there ,, some very good levels marked ,,not always easy to know exactly what is happening at those levels from just an hourly chart tho ,,,, now you drill down to a M15 ,,, really dont have to go much lower unless you scalp every pip back and forth ,,,,, m15 you can see a day / a day and half alrite with out the chart being too messed up looking ,, now look for little things around a previous high or low from hourly chart ,, may start to see little recognizable price patterns ,, such as the inverted h&s patterns ,, mark the nearest support and resistance on the m15 ,, like where price got above the M1 200ema look at the patterns,,, even the feared nfp did what ,, spiked price to support and sent it to the previous high and at the end of the day a paltry 66 pips ,,big fiing deal ,,now if it keeps getting bought ,, what will you see ,,, more inverted h&s patterns ,, more bounces from support ,, less falling back from res may may just keeping pounding on res till thru not even get back to good support etc etc ,,, if it gets sold what will you see regular h&s pattersn ,,bear flag type patterns ,, price not making it back to res ,, price dropping thru previous support levels ,,,,, ,,chess match every day ,, piece it together like a puzzle ,,, starts with rollover ,,the 1st line in the sand ,, trades below daily open for a few hours after rollover slight bearish bias ,, above slightly bull bias ,,, asia will do its little 20 25 pip range ,,, still above or below the open ,, look for that to used as a res or sup point till taken out one way or the other ,,, then franki ,, sometimes fake sometimes not ,, then london ,, and probably what the 1st part of the days direction will be ,,, usa is just goning to spike it back towards the open then add to it or completely reverse it ,,,, what kinda price pattern,,,, bull flag ,,bear flag (aka trend line break steep or otherwise ) has been put in so far during the day ,, is it above or below the m1 200 ,, has it used it for support or res etc etc how many days once london has got a direction started does it just keep going that way till eod =end of day till you get to what around 60 80 pips or so,,,, or a weekly level or higher time frame important level sure you can kinda see the steps ,,, its a bit of everything thrown in with what you basically know for any given day ,,, the when to trade ,,, the how far it may go and when the action is going to die down ,,piece by piece put it togather ,,, find the better levels ,,trade said better levels collect your pips ,, on to the next day where it starts all over again with the 1st line in the sand , ,, same things from other charts I posted ,,, if you want to be greedy go with the mkt ,, such as where the yellow circles are ,, then when the next pop comes ,, your acct explodes ,,, not implodes ,,,, would highly recommend some practice 1st tho ,, start with the basics ,,, you have decent levels from your hourly chart ,,, now its just refining it down to what is actually happening at those levels on the hourly chart ,, as I ve have told my bud moty several times it does no good just to buy or sell because a level has been touched ,,, dumb to buy a mkt thats dropping ,,, dumb to sell a mkt going up ,,,little things like these patterns help one get thru the chess match everyday ,,, price patterns ,,flags the trendline breaks ,,steep ones usually after london and the best most active part of day as mentioned those things mean something .

hi vok...i dont know whats spam about that post, just trying to educate those "newbies" with reality if they think they getting correct datacause the discrepancies even go up to daily chart

Yes true because every broker uses different liquidity providers and different tick data providers.

Solution to overcome this is use daily or weekly TF to find major support and resistance therefore it is good for swing trading.
