I see a range and a triangular convergence OR upward channel a hammer candle on friday Triangular formations always breakout and I'll be buying dips. {image}
But maybe that's just me, looking at price.

and was expecting a bigger drop on friday.. all adds up
I was to comment on friday's hammer
so went to identify candles with long wicks relative to their bodies (on fridays) up to a year back
on some of these, mkt reacted within the following week, some didn't
I'm attaching the chart's template if anyone could be interested in helping to identify further wicked (pun intended) candles

The "Friday Candle" Problem:
Frday painted a "Hammer". The Hammer however is out of location, in the middle of nowhere.
80% of the time, we do not see a follow through on monday, on candles like this.
90% of the time you see a "wickfill" on a "Hammer" like this.
In short: the Firday candle is a liquidity wick. Not trustworthy.
When you trade candlesticks, you must pay close attention on their surroundings, and not look at a single candle in a vaccuum.
Currently the price sits in nowhere land and there is no sense in speculating.
Lot's of political noise at the moment, as Trump rumbles through Europe, threatening anything and everything (and the idiots obey, I wonder why, but that's opinion)
Here are my Charts, showing the same old range, the same old levels of conventional Support & Resistance, and the current Supply & Demand Zones.
As usual: do not trade the lines, trade the price.
(without the need to create a bias, there is a possibility that we could form a Shoulder-Head-Shoulder formation, look at the H4 chart and take a step back from the screen)
this can break up, this can break down, this can do nothing... simply wait and see what happens, and trade accordingly.

Have no bias, stay in the moment, and remember > the journey never ends
