2018 Network Security

I know very little about Network Security apart from having a strong Router code plus a laptop dedicated only to trading. But it is high time I looked at a complete review and upgrade.

Over the weekend, started to look at programes which could show me who was on my network and who was trying to hack me and it was then thatI realized I needed serious help.

Can someone please briefly explain to me exactly what I should be doing.

What do you mean?

I think as long as you are on a secured private network you shouldn't be too worried. In normal circumstances outsiders cannot log your activity and or history. On the other hand if you are using a public server they do have the ability to see your logs and activity.
